624 Tasting Notes
For a tea with “detox” in its title, I expected something medicinal tasting but it’s not overly so. It’s nice, somewhat soothing and comforting. Very herbal overall but I can predominantly taste lemongrass, followed by juniper, followed by ginger. This tea leaves a rather pleasant impression and I can say that I’m happy to be pleasantly surprised.
It’s good but it’s another one that I can’t help compare to another that I like better. This is peachy, no doubt about that but Just Peachy by DAVIDsTEA just tastes juicier. It’s always the number one pick of my friends from all my teas when they come over. Teavana is more tart, less sweet and has more flavours mingling with the peach whereas DAVIDs tastes like pure peach and is very sweet and almost has a fruit juice-like quality to it. I’m sure that both would make a great iced version. As long as I can buy Just Peachy, I won’t bother getting Peach Tranquility but it still makes a decent replacement in a pinch.
Flavors: Citrusy, Peach, Sweet, Tart
This tea is so comforting for me. It reminds me of all the times that I’ve spent with my friends hanging out at Tim Hortons. I always order it steeped with cream and sugar (my local Tim’s never has Almond Milk in stock.) It’s so delicious, sweet and creamy, just how I like it.
I buy the K-Cups at the grocery store and pour the loose tea into a coffee filter for my one cup Melita and steep it at home where I can add my Silk Almond Vanilla Coffee Creamer. Tastes like home! There is just something so familiar, nostalgic and sentimental about this tea. I will always order it and I will always love it!
