Rooibos tea will never be a favourite of mine but it’ll do when I’m in a mood that I just don’t care what I drink. The woody taste is odd to me but I can put up with it. I much prefer white, green, black, oolong and herbal tea over rooibos. I don’t hate it but I would never go out of my way to have it either. Most of the rooibos tea I have were given to me as part of a gift pack or what I bought at David’s Tea to see if flavouring would make the rooibos taste any better to me (it doesn’t.) This tea is just a straightforward rooibos and really, it isn’t half bad. Maybe I’ll still learn to appreciate it but for now I’ll stick to drinking my old faithfuls (mostly.)

I received two tea bags of this new tea as a free sample. I wasn’t expecting much as I’m not usually a huge fan of regular grocery store teas. Really, it’s just a tea with a fancy name but doesn’t taste all that fancy. Oh, it’s fine and all, just nothing special. I can taste mostly cinnamon and fennel. Even though I have a coupon that came with the sample, I won’t be buying a full box.

Very lemony! I usually don’t like hibiscus but it works here. Sour, but pleasantly so. I like it.
