drank Apple Strudel by DAVIDsTEA

Trying again with milk and sugar, and this is so much tastier. I get a lot of sweet creamy apple this time around, though I still wouldn’t call this apple strudel. Maybe a non-custardy Apple Custard. I’ll finish this off tomorrow with breakfast.

Yeah, this tea is a disappointment. Currently drinking Apple Custard with milk and there’s no comparison.

I wonder if maybe Apple Strudel would work if brewed strong and served with milk? Because the four times that I’ve made it so far, it’s been hopeless. Perhaps I gave it too light a touch?

Yeah, milk seems to make this one a lot more tolerable. And I too prefer Apple Custard.

Apple Custard is much better. I’ve been using a tablespoon of Apple Strudel per 16oz of water and adding a teaspoon of sugar and some milk. It seems to help, but this isn’t really a tea that’s good on it’s own. Too bad, too – I was excited for this one.

Maybe even a bit of cream.

Yes, me too. I had rather high hopes for this one. Dashed.

I became interested in tea spring 2013, when some friends of mine brought me to a local tea shop. I’ve been experimenting since, and am absolutely in love! I am especially fond of blended teas, and I’m a sucker for gimicky flavors.

My cupboard is stocked with a lot of DAVIDsTEA at the present, although I do have a few teas from some local shops. I’m looking forward to branching out and trying teas from different vendors and shops. Let the journey begin!
