Preparation
Yay! At least you recognized the amazingness in this one, even though it’s not particularly something you can see yourself drinking. I did this at 2:30 and there wasn’t much astringency. Maybe lower the steep time? But MMMMM, love this one!
I’ll definitely keep that in mind in the future. Whenever I decide to place an order from SpecialTeas, I might get this anyways. I want to revisit it and I’m sure some of my friends would enjoy this tea.

Thank God! Maybe this is my saving grace when it comes to rooibos! I can’t stand red.
The taste of red and green are completely different, just as black tea and green tea are. It’s time to place a Lupicia order?

Yes. Ricky’s phonetic spelling is correct.
Wikipedia says roy-bos. I can’t find a phonetic spelling anywhere online on any of the readily available online dictionaries.

Not all Starbucks employees know how to say it. It’s roy-bus, though a lot of people say roy-boss. Roy-boss is acceptable too.
the “bus” and “boss” difference could also be due to variations in speed of speech.
My best friend just calls it African Red Bush:)
