This review just stabbed me in the heart lol. I still can’t believe how different one tea drinker’s tastes can be so different from another…
Haha, nopeeee since I was backlogging muscat from earlier this morning. This just isn’t my cup of tea =(
immediately rushes to smell her cocomint, gets no nail polish, and smiles lol. As I’ve said before, I think I’m the complete opposite of what the average steepster member likes or doesn’t like.
Ewwww, this one sounds very, very gross to me. Acetone is an awful smell! And fake Easter Bunny chocolate! I think I’ll pass.
This is another one of those teas that you either love it or hate it. My friend who loves citron green loves this one. Ummm, I’m going to take some White Cucumber out of the TTB when it comes my way and see if he likes it. There might be a trend!
teaplz, this is the 1st review that I’ve seen acetone mentioned lol. Maybe he was smelling the cucumber? As much as I love it, I can see where that one would smell like nail poilsh raw. To me it smells exactly like the ingredient. Do you think we could get the Girl Scouts to come out w/ a green tea thin mint? :)

But tea leaves have feelings tooooo. I mean it’s like the ugly ducking. Valentines might feel left out, and we wouldn’t wnat that now would we?
Ahhh, my finger slipped or I was thinking about the world =D Fixed now =D
One to two minutes? Ummm, that might make it too watery for my taste. I think what this tea really needs is some sweetener.

Yea another zoujirushi person! I know what you mean about it taking a lone time… but once it wears in it becomes a little faster.
New toys are always fun, learning how to use it isn’t. I woke up and pressed reboil and when I came back to it later I was surprised that it was playing a song! The energy saver feature also confuses me a bit. I guess it wasn’t on yesterday as I kept pressing the button past 10hr. I should really read the instructions manual.
It takes 4hrs to cool to 140F! That’s insane! Haha, seems my gyokuro will have to wait.
haha I don’t use the stupid energy saver settings… they scare me… but I’ve had mine for 6 months and it gets down to green tea temp in about an hour and a half… it’ll wear in
WAIT! it plays a song!>!?! ok I have to play with the energy saver features now
Hahaha, green takes me two hours. Yeah! Apparently if you hold the unlock button you can change it from silent mode to melody to beep. Once it finishes reboiling it plays a tune and it won’t stop! I’m sure it does but it was going on for a while. When I set it on 10hrs it started playing some music too! It’s scary!
It does stop, honest. ^^ Mine does. It just plays through the musical phrase twice, and then stops. :D
Did I mention there’s an elephant? The logos an elephant. I don’t know why, but I’ve been fascinated with them lately. Ohhhh I think I know what my new avatar is going to be!
I guess I just wasn’t patient enough. I was like AHHHH when is this melody going to stop!

Den’s info says 30 sec for a bancha, but then again a flavored bancha may be different… flavored senchas are very different from other senchas (note to self make apple again). Gyokuro?
Agreed Den’s is usually 30 seconds to a minute for bancha. Lupicia’s tea is lighter though compared to Dens. Gyokuro is 140F.
Premium is, regular gyokuro is 160 (4oz cup). Thanks for stating what Lupicia suggests, cuz based on your choice of parameters I would have thought flavored sencha.

I have this one as well! I’ve actually never had an Assam by itself, but I’m really anticipating it! Sorry that it wasn’t your type of tea!

Is it just me, or do many of Lupicia’s teas look the same? Maybe it’s those pink peppercorns that are confusing me. Cache-Cache, Daruma, Sakurambo..
