Popular Tasting Notes

I love Earl Grey. I don’t love this. It’s all bergamot and no black tea. It’s sort of like drinking a hot piece of lemon cake. I’ll definitely drink it when I’m craving something lemony but not sweet, but I won’t be drinking it as an Earl Grey.

This suddenly appeared in the tea stash at work today. Not awful, but nothing to write home about.

Forgot to log this last night. While I only had one cup, I brewed up two full pots to put in a jar to make iced tea. It makes for a good cold tea and is quite refreshing. An interesting experiment I tried a while back was crushing up a mint Altoid and mixing it into a bottle of this iced tea. It gives it a bit of a kick.

This is a pretty solid black tea. Nothing exceptional, but still good.

I love this tea! A coworker of mine drinks it and occasionally shares a few bags. It always makes my day!

Brewed too long again.

A lovely fruity flavor and aroma – rich color – a wonderful tea at any time of the day, but especially the evening.

I wasn’t too keen on trying this one, ’cause in the container, it smells like a horse. However, the tea itself smells only of tea and tastes lovely. A little weaker in flavor than I expected based on its color, but still very good.

Had this in bagged form at L’asso. Much better than I was expecting. I’d put a box of this in my bag for emergencies.

I honestly didn’t like this one when I first tried it. It is indeed bold and, as a result, I find where it really shines is during its second infusion. Tastes even better when it’s cooled down a bit.

This is a damn good cup of Earl Grey. It’s not my favorite (okay, it’s my second-favorite), but it’s the Earl Grey I drink every day. Good balance, not too much bergamot, nice and full-flavored.

It’s been a few days since I’ve logged anything, hmm.

not sure the company, but this is clearly chai (from a round tea bag).

quart of water water brought to a boil and poured over 4 teaspoons of tea and 2 pinches of stevia leaf steeped for 3 minutes then added 1 tab sugar

The smell was not so great but the taste was pretty good.

Surprisingly good! Also from colleague! (She made me a tin of assorted teas. :) )
