First and second steep. I seem to be liking the second steep better, in general.

drank Throat Comfort by Yogi Tea

This has a delicious sweet taste and really does help your throat. I am not sure how… but it does. I drink it just for the taste even when my throat doesn’t hurt.

first steep, just as good as the second.

(I brewed two cups, and had the second steep first, to see if I could tell the difference.)

OK, but not a favorite. I’m not a huge fan of blends and this tin is a bit past expiration, so that could also be a contributing factor.

drank Pu Erh Poe by Adagio Teas

Certainly more enjoyable than the Pu Erh Dante from Adagio. It’s much smoother, less dense and more delicate. I’d imagine that this would appeal to a much wider group of tea drinkers.

Third steep, with a couple extra balls of leaves added. When they unfurl, there are sometimes three or four leaves still attached to the stem. Very nice.

drank White Peony by Radiance Tea

Very light and subtle. I’ve been drinking some heavier, earthier green teas today, so this works well to offer a clean tone after those earlier teas. The white tea has a decent flavor, pretty straightforward.

I never used to like this tea. My friends and I say it tastes of war. Or at least of war films. But I quite like the smokiness now, with a little milk

Yummy. I wanted a strong-ish green tea flavour before bed, and this was ideal

This is the stereotype of how I always thought tea should taste. I love it. Good for an afternoon pick me up on hour 7 at work.

2 min, 190F. Not as good as the Stash chai black, but at least the green tea didn’t get bitter. Added milk, but then it is no longer palate cleansing. Rat feathers! Not undrinkable but sigh I have regrets g

Wonderful smell and even more wonderful taste. Put a tiny touch of honey in it to round out the flavor and it was even better

Light, green oolong. Floral, but delicately so. Enjoyable brew.

A really unique chai blend. The cloves and cinnamon came through nicely but the vanilla was a special surprise. Creamy.

One of the more full-bodied white teas, and one that I haven’t had for a while, so when I was sent a free sample pack it seemed like a good time to revisit it. As with many white teas, I always find the second steeping better than the first. This time I steeped it for five minutes in water at 75C. If you like pai mu tan/white peony you’ll probably like this one, too.
