69 Tasting Notes
I love this fruity green tea when I’m not feeling my spicier or sweeter blends. It’s delicately balanced with flavours of pineapple and coconut, and a bit of a sour kick. I’m so sad that DAVIDsTEA discontinued this, I haven’t found another fruity green with the nice sourness that this one has — Pura Vida simply doesn’t compare.
Flavors: Coconut, Pineapple, Sour, Tropical
Preparation
I forgot how sweet this tea is! Very strong chamomile flavour with a hint of lemongrass, a nice comforting cup before bed. I oversteeped this for a very long time and it was still absolutely perfect.
Flavors: Honey, Lemongrass
Preparation
Warm, sweet dried hay and leaves. Very comforting, I love drinking this before bed. It’s not astringent at all, rooibos never dries out my mouth as much as camellia sinensis teas do! I know that there’s cheaper sources of green rooibos tea out there, so I might try other brands before repurchasing DAVIDsTEA’s offering, but theirs is excellent. I actually oversteeped the leaves for far too long but it was still a sweet, smooth, satisfying cup!
Flavors: Dry Grass, Earth, Hay
Preparation
Probably my favourite chai that DAVIDsTEA has ever made! The rooibos pairs perfectly with the cinnamon and ginger, which are two flavours I typically hate. I think it’s the coconut that tones the cinnamon down enough for me to enjoy! It’s a very sweet chai and is absolutely lovely hot with a splash of soy milk.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Clove, Coconut

Am I the only one who’s really into this tea? Today was my first time trying it hot, and it was definitely not what I was expecting. This tea had been sitting in my cupboard untouched since it came out because I was so apprehensive about ginger being the first ingredient, but lo and behold, I can hardly taste the ginger! The ginger taste that I do get is very fresh and sweet, pairing well with the tartness of the grapefruit. I don’t taste any green tea at all, but the tea is somewhat astringent. While I likely won’t be reaching for this one very often, I’m glad that it’s not the overwhelming disappointment I was expecting.
Flavors: Cream, Ginger, Grapefruit
Preparation
This tea is good, but very basic. The peppermint, spearmint, and green tea blend is nice, but not something I would reach for more than occasionally. I honestly prefer my Peppermint Amour over this one, but there’s still absolutely nothing wrong with DAVIDsTEA’s take on a Moroccan Mint blend!
Flavors: Peppermint, Spearmint

First time trying this one hot! I actually was expecting to like it a lot less, it’s a tea I really enjoy iced and had strictly only drank iced. I found the green tea taste to be completely non-existent, with a lovely sweet goji berry flavour taking over. The stevia in this one is not bothersome to me, and knowing that I can also enjoy this one iced makes me love it even more!
Flavors: Black Currant, Goji, Red Fruits
Preparation
I feel like I’m the only one who barely tastes the peach in this tea. I understand that it’s a black tea and that the peach flavour would not be predominant, but it simply tastes like a very sweet black tea to me. While I taste very little peach, I taste even less lychee. Not a favourite.
Update: After finishing the cup, I did begin to notice the peach flavour a bit more. I’ve adjusted my numerical rating to reflect this. However, I still could not recommend this tea due to its lacklustre flavour.
Flavors: Peach, Sugar, Sweet

This tea makes me question my previous judgements about yogurt in tea blends – I absolutely love this one. I typically don’t mind sugar or sweeteners in my blends, but the sugar pieces in this are absolutely huge! It’s crazy. Anyway, I get a strong raspberry flavour with a little creaminess. I oversteeped it at about 8 minutes, so next time I definitely would not steep it as long. I’d recommend no longer than 6 minutes. It’s very refreshing, but I think the only tea I’d repurchase out of this collection is Passion Punch.
Flavors: Cream, Raspberry, Sugar
Preparation
Reminiscent of Queen of Tarts, the only flavour I get is hibiscus. The rooibos is slightly present, but honestly this tea lacks complexity. The aloe vera in the blend intrigued me, but I was left extremely underwhelmed.
