600 Tasting Notes
I placed one teabag in a cup and pour hot water and let steep for about 5 minutes.
This is another inexpensive tea made by the Forrelli brand. Steeped for 5 minutes color is lightly brownish and not as medicinal in taste as their Green tea; I find I like it best brewed with two tea bags instead of one in order to enjoy the peach flavoring all the more.
It is good for what its worth.
Preparation
I have not had this tea for a long while. I wanted something of substance to tide me over until dinner and I find this tea is rightly so. I like to steep this tea for a good 3 minutes and the water to have been boiling. So that when it is done steeping, the cup is piping hot and steamy to help bring forth the tea’s aroma.
There is nuttiness in the taste and smelling of the tea, and that mix with the roasted brown rice make me think of oats. I remember when young and wanting to feel a warm cup of porridge would be the remedy. This is similar in some small way.
I enjoy the nutty flavor and the steam rising from the cup as it rubs my nostrils most nicely.
Preparation
I place one teabag into a cup and pour on the fresh boiling water and left to steep for 5 minutes. The tea brewed to a dark amber in color and its roasted smell fills the air nicely; it has a malt flavor taste and tea is full bodied. I don’t feel the need for sugar. It is suggested that lemon may be added to it. I like this tea just plain and nicely hot.
I fall back on premium store brand tea for economic reason and to have a nice cup of tea with no fuss in the making and the taste quite agreeable.
You can stock expensive teas as well as having some store brand name that you have come to like for its simple ness and goodness in the cup.
Preparation
The tea that I tend to fall back on when needing a simple cup of tea with no explanation or much examination is this store brand green tea. I simply take one tea bag, place in a cup and pour fresh boiling water and steep for less than 2 minutes. I remove the tea bag and sip my tea slowly since it is very hot.
It is good tea serving the need for a cup of hot tea and nothing more. I am not thinking of the health benefits of tea, nor of its calming effects. I am thirsty and I want a cup of hot tea and this does just fine.
Preparation
I wanted to have some herbal tea this morning and was most pleased when I opened my Teaman canister to find, still a few tea bags remaining. I simply thought I had finished it.
I placed one tea bag in my mug and poured hot water over the bag and left to steep for close to five minutes. I like how the fragrances filled the air around me; this herbs mixture of blueberry and blackberry which livens the room with its fruity scents. It is a floral melody taking place around and near me; so delighted to be able to have this tea once more.
Tea’s color is red and tasting like liquor since it is very sweet and flowery smelling. This herbal tea makes for a good cup…a dosage filled with energy and zestfulness in living.
Preparation
This Hobee’s Cinnamon Orange is my afternoon tea of late; I either fix myself a cup mid-day when I feel a need for a snack or I have it after dinner as dessert.
It is such a camouflage type tea, if one can use this term. I mean the tea has so many aspects and layers. Brewed with very hot water and steeped for four minutes makes for a rich liquor-like tea. It is heavy and not unlike maple syrup, instead with cinnamon and cloves and bits of oranges and the scent is heavenly. You just cannot go wrong with preparing this tea and enjoying it. It is simply divine tea.
For dessert you can sprinkle some of the grounds over your Vanilla Bean ice-cream; or mix it within a dish of maple walnut ice-cream. Either way it is acts like sprinkles over ice-cream.
As an After Dinner Tea drink recipe:
After Dinner Tea, makes for an excellent way of capping a meal. Irish Cream liqueur can be delicious even more when offered and paired together with this Cinnamon Orange tea. This formula serves four.
Ingredients call for coffee but substitutes where it asks for coffee with the Cinnamon Orange tea grinds.
50 gm / 2oz ground Cinnamon Orange tea grinds
475ml / 16fl oz boiling water
120ml/4fl oz Irish Cream
5 ml/ 1 tea-spoon natural vanilla essence (extract)
30ml -2 table-spoon soft dark brown sugar
150 ml/ ¼ pint double heavy cream (optional)
Instruction:
Place the ground tea inside of a small pot, pour the boiling water over the tea and leave until the tea grinds settle nicely at the pot’s bottom and the color is very rich and full looking. Strain the tea into a clean pot or a pitcher. Add the Irish Cream and vanilla essence in order to the tea, and stir nicely for a good mixture. Include the sugar and continue to stir until it mixes completely.
Put this mixture into small tea mugs or high heat-resistance glasses. If you wish to add the cream to this; simply hold the spoon above the surface area of each tea. Put the cream very gradually down the back again of the spoon in order that it forms a swimming pool on top. Then serve them.
I have played around quite a bit with this recipe to get it right; the tea must be thickly made so it can mix well with the Irish Cream and I find adding a spoonful of Vanilla ice-cream into the cup makes for a good float with some Irishness in the cream depicted. Enjoy!
The contrasting notes are divine…Cinnamon, clove, orange spice, nutmeg, vanilla and the Irish cream mixes nicely when steaming hot. As I make and play around with this drinking recipe I think of bubble tea (tapioca) without the clumps at the bottom or good old fashion eggnog except thicker and much nicer.
I am attesting to the fact that so much can be had and made of this Cinnamon-Orange tea since it is that good.
is a wonderful sight for recipes on food and beverages.
Preparation
I subjected myself to another cup of this tea last evening with the hope that perhaps the more I try it I could learn to like the taste and see some good results weight wise. I am sorry to say the taste and smell is still too pungent for me to enjoy.
I drink the tea while pinching my nostrils; as this helps to lessen the flavors on my palette. And I have yet to see results with regards to ‘slimming down’; I only tried this a few times. It is too soon to tell.
Unfortunately I have not been able to frequent this shop since my last few purchases as the store was not open when last I was in that area. I think I may have offended these international folks; so serious are they with their teas and products.
I don’t know anything, I just know this tea’s taste is difficult for me to appreciate and I am sorry.

Preparation
This tea has become my nightly ritual for its smoothness and laxative qualities. I brew this tea for the full five minutes and drink this as my last cup of tea for the day. This is not a tea that I sip slowly; it is a drinking tea. So I drink up. I find I prefer the taste of this herbal to the Slim Tea, also by Hemani.
Preparation
I am trying a new Naturally Caffeine free Herbal Tea. I don’t normally discuss my teas that are diet in nature in my reviews, but since I have been stretching finances with the need for buying more teas and to continue to submit reviews I find that I might have to reveal more.
I put one tea bag in a cup of boiling water & left to steep for the full five minutes. Tea is very strong in scent, kind of like a licorice combined with anise; as this description for the herbals may not be correct, just note tea is pungently strong and I must say taste wise I don’t like the after taste of the herbs.
I might try this tea again with a shorter infusion since it is so very strong. Overall, this herbal tea is not to my liking at this time.
