290 Tasting Notes
This tea is really strong, so be sure to watch when you steep it. It may take a few tries to get it to the concentration that you like it. As for the taste, I think it’s absolutely fantastic! It’s very subtle-ly tangy, which I like. the lemon grass add the perfect amount of lemon to compliment the raspberry without being overwhelming.
It’s really great and it makes a fantastic iced tea! And it is also good sweetened a little. Happy steeping!
I would definitely recommend this tea to almost anyone, especially if you want to relax or sleep, or both :)
It does not have a particularly strong aroma, so I am very surprised by how incredibly sweet and fruity it is! I can definitely taste the pineapple and papaya, and the fact that they are candied, add an incredibly sweetness to the tea that is just the perfect amount. This fruitiness is not tangy at all, and it is softened by the cinnamon and a very subtle note of star anise.
Overall, it’s really great, not what I expected it to be at all. There’s a lot going on in this tea, and you could never tell by just it’s aroma!
This tea has some very interesting ingredients; like orange juice pieces…. how is that even possible…? Anyway, peach pieces are the first ingredient, making it extra peachy! The other fruits in here, like grapes apples plums and figs, compliment and soften the intense peach flavor while adding sweetness to the tea. There is another weird ingredient in here that I taste in the after taste: pepper! It’s not an intense spiciness, just a lovely, subtle, background note.
I’ve had a lot of pumpkin flavoured beverages this fall, but this one is my absolute favourite. The pumpkin flavor is deep and intense. Pumpkin isn’t all that flavorful to begin with, so in this tea its about as flavorful as pumpkin can really be. The spice is subtle and perfect. The tea is also pretty sweet, making it taste more like pumpkin pie!

This tea has an incredibly interesting and inviting aroma, I just could not resist. The taste is very unique, but it is difficult to pinpoint what all those flavours are. What I taste the most is the fruitiness. The only fruits in here are strawberry and apple but it is difficult to decipher which fruit it is that I’m tasting. Then there is the chocolate, which is the best part of this tea, in my opinion. It fits in really well with the fruit, compliments it perfectly. Apparently this tea is also suppose to have a chilli-heat in it. Well I don’t taste anything chilli-like. Maybe it just so happens that the spoonful of tea they used had no chilli flakes in it…maybe not.
Anyway, it’s a good tea, but I wish it could live up to its name by having some hot chilli flavour in it! I could imagine that would be amazing if it is done right!
