Grrr… Steepster hiccuped and I lost my post! Let’s try this again…

Sipdown! I’m trying diligently to finish up as many teas as I can, as I have an order on the way and a bunch of new teas from recent swaps that I haven’t added to my cupboard yet. If I’m feeling overwhelmed at around 50, I can’t even imagine how those of you up near 200 manage it!

Ok, this is a good cup for when you’re looking for something sweet and caffeine-free. I like it, but it’s not something I’m likely to restock as I prefer Birthday Cake, and that fills the sweet rooibos void quite nicely for me. Not much to say about this one that I didn’t already put in my previous tasting note.

drank Peach Oolong by Adagio Teas

Thanks to Shadowfall for this one! Haven’t tried it hot yet, but I cold-brewed it for ~8hr last night and am now enjoying it with lunch.

The dry leaf smells very strongly of peach, with no discernable dark oolong notes. (Cold) Steeped, it still smells of peach, though not quite as strong, and it smells a bit more “tea-like.” Color is a light gold. This tastes great. Fruity and very smooth. It’s sweet enough on its own that I did not add any sugar — but if you like really sweet iced teas, I bet that it would work well with sweetener, too.

Hey Lindsey. My name is Donovan. I am one of the owners of Two Guys’ Tea. We have a wonderful Oolong Peach tea. It is all natural and extremely well balanced. It is also $0.50 cheaper for a 4 oz. tin.

I’d love for you to try it and let me know what you think. I can even give you more of a discount on your first purchase.

This is a really interesting one. It’s mouth-watering. Quite literally. I guess that’s what they mean by “juicy?” It’s good though; tastes like peach and it has a slightly woody taste to it — reminds me of honeybush, in a way.

Finishing off the last of my Pineapple Cilantro Cream today. (I promised myself that I would free-up a tin today & I did it! Yay for determination!)

While you can certainly detect the pineapple in each sip, the flavors are all pretty mild & well-balanced, so you get a clean tasting tea without that overbearing, acidy pineapple taste I hate.

A mix of Gunpowder, Wild Strawberry, and Spearmint (All from Adagio): cold-brewed overnight.

The result? A light pinkish-gold brew that’s quite possibly the most refreshing drink I’ve ever had! (I find spearmint preferable to peppermint for cold-brewing.)

It tastes pretty much just like you’d expect – a Moroccan Mint tea with a little burst of sweet fruit flavor. It has a delicious, thirst-quenching zing to it. Paired it with fresh strawberries for an early afternoon treat. Will definitely be mixing more of this through the spring and summer!

Sounds great!

It really was. I’m quite pleased with it :-)

Really need a little extra help relaxing tonight & hoping this will do the trick. During college, I lived just two blocks from the Marathon route, worked in Copley Square, and, still have many friends who live in the city. Thankfully, all of my friends & family are okay. Though with cell lines blocked, there was a lot of scrambling to get news from everyone this afternoon and, needless to say, sleep is a little hard to come by tonight. I may not be a mother, but I could certainly use a “little helper” right now.

The fragrance of this tea is soothing as always, and the taste, while nothing to write home about, is comforting.

So glad that everyone you know is okay, and sending prayers to those who need healing.

Received a sample of this with a DavidsTea order. It was pretty “meh.” Certainly not bad, but it didn’t really leave much of an impression on me. Not too much to say about it – it tasted kind of like banana chips (you know, the dehydrated ones), but it was mildly flavored.

I tried it the same day as the similarly composed Mudslide from Teopia/Teavana. Mudslide was the clear winner. It’s a rooibos whereas (I think?) this one is just a fruit infusion, but the flavors are amped up a bit. (But I might be biased, seeing as I love rooibos.)

Thanks, KiwiDelight, for this one!

Dry leaf smell: Whoa, that’s bananas! The steeped smell is much mellower & that signature rooibos aroma takes the forefront.

Tried the first half of the cup without any additives. With small sips, the banana flavor is prominent. Mmm, like over-ripe bananas or home baked banana bread. When I took a big sip, I didn’t pick-up on it as much, though. I’m odd like that, sometimes.

Read the other reviews and decided to add some rock sugar (2 little pieces) for the second half. Wow, now it really tastes like bananas! And there’s a chocolate taste at the end of the sip. Reminds me more of a chocolate-covered frozen banana than a mudslide… But that’s a good thing b/c it’s quite delicious!

Okay, this one is growing on me. Still nothing outstanding, but with almond milk and rock sugar, it is tasty. Bumping up my rating a wee bit.

Had a cup of this yesterday at my local Tealuxe. It was my first time trying genmaicha, so I don’t have a basis for comparison.

This presented as a nice, sort-of roasty flavor to a solid green tea base. The base was a little vegetal, but not too much (it was subtle enough to not be off-putting in the least) and was very smooth. The rice added a roasty note to the tea, creating almost a toasted or “cooked” flavor. It left a noticeable aftertaste of cooked green veggies. It was quite good overall.

A tea fanatic who works in the tech sector, I purchase most of my tea online. The numerical ratings are to help me remember which teas I should re-order. 85+ means it’s worth a re-purchase. (If I ever get through all of the new ones I want to try!)

It’s pretty obvious from my tealog, but I have special place in my heart for flavored blacks and good rooibos. I also love oolongs, but apparently have expensive taste in that area, so I don’t purchase them too often. Learning to appreciate green tea, but not a fan of overly vegetal ones. Whites make a great iced tea.

I love to try new teas and will sample most anything once. Although I’ll usually pass on Earl Grey or super floral blends.

I drink my tea with no additions, unless otherwise noted in the review.
