When I left my apartment this morning it was rainy, so I decided it was the perfect time to break out a new fall tea! The dry leaf smells almost like apple flavored Jolly Ranchers and cinnamon. After steeping, the cinnamon smell was definitely more prominent. At first, there is a sweet, candy apple taste followed shortly by cinnamon. I get kind of a sense of the crust taste toward the end, but I’m not sure if I was just imagining it to be there because I was expecting it. This reminds me of a more elegant version of Cinnamon Apple Spice by Celestial Seasonings. That one is a little more in your face cinnamon and apple. Conclusion? I’m seriously thinking of going back to David’s to stock up on this before it goes away! We’ll see what my budget has to say about that, though.
