So many “gotta-dos” brewing on the home front and a dreary and teejus five day workweek that feels eleventy days long keeping me from starting on any of them…can I get an amen?

This polite little herbal was patient with me while I was rushing around trying to cram a half-day’s home puttering into less than an hour and didn’t become undrinkable even after two loads of folded laundry. It was plenty orange-y, but not painfully or sharply tart at all. Nice balance between the chamomile and the other other goodies—nothing out-shouted the rest. Provided a little internal sunshine on a gray, rainy evening.

I didn’t take good notes on this one, but I think I have Nicole to thank for this one. (thanks!)

Somebody asked me once when I became a tea junkie; I think it dates back to college when I needed caffeine for a 7 a.m. class but chose not to do coffee. My favorite teapot is a medium-sized Brown Betty given to me by my Mema; the painted flowers are chipping off, but the size and feel is perfect. I rejoice when I get a morning to brew a pot of loose tea starting with a kettle; not a bag and a hot pot.
