Thank you, Shelley_Loraine for the box of yummy teas that came in the mail today! I opened this up and went straight for the Butiki. :-)

This tea did taste like pistachios. There was a distinctive nutty quality in scent and first part of the taste. The green base was vegetal, buttery and maybe even a bit salty. I felt like I was tasting spinach very strongly as it cooled, which I enjoyed.

I got one very large cup out of this and I think I’d be more interested in trying the base on its own rather than the blend again. It was good, but not one of my favorites.

Yeah! I felt that if I loved pistachios, I would like this tea more. I like them, but only eat them on occasion.

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
