This was one of the first green teas I had ever tried.
Did not like this green tea at all. The taste was bitter and stale to me. I steeped it as directed on the box. Tried adding honey but the taste of this tea was still bitter and tough to finish. The taste also reminded me of a pesticide I used while working in the pest control industry. Not good!
I won’t be buying this tea again as I didn’t even finish it the box I purchased. Never felt any energy either.
I drink all of the Yogi Detox Tea’s pretty regularly because my acupuncturist suggested that I take dandelion root and this seemed like the easiest way. This tea is peppery and doesn’t need to be sweetened but I don’t catch much of a peach flavor, in fact, I almost wonder if this particular batch was boxed wrong!
So tasty! I love the minty flavour, and this is coming from someone who generally dislikes mint teas. I actually got a couple bags of this tea from a friend when I was feeling sick, it was so soothing. I forgot one in a coat pocket and so am finally drinking it now. I definitely need to pick up some of this tea for myself.
This didn’t work nearly as well as I remembered it working. I think it needs some mint in it as an addition to the licorice &c.
I happen to like proper licorice, so the flavor doesn’t bother me and it did loosen up some chest congestion for an hour or two which was nice when trying to fall asleep.
Combined with a metholyptus cough drop this would probably work wonders.
This kinda seems like something I would enjoy, but no… at first I thought teabags were to blame but I cut them open and so brewed it like loose leaf tea. There is a strange bitter-sweetness I don’t like here. I checked the box a few times to see if it had stevia, roobois or something of that nature. I think it’s just a bad combination, the licorice is fighting with the other ingredients and the result is a toxic mess that I need to hold my nose to finish drinking…. ewwwww. Just don’t go there!
Preparation
I find that licorice hides in a lot of herbal teas, which is one reason I shy away from, and I think Yogi uses a lot of licorice.
its not too chocolatey, i love the spices.
i tried it with and without milk and sugar and found i prefered it without.
a great alternative to instant hot chocolate, with sugar added
needs to be brewed for the full length of time for the best flavour
Preparation
The rooibos and coconut taste great together in this one. The coconut isn’t a weird coconut like some teas feature. A perfect amount of sweet flavor here too.. maybe that’s the butterscotch flavor? I’m not tasting the cinnamon that is supposed to be in this though. Very smooth.

Bummer. I like some Yogi tea I tried. I was looking forward to trying more of their teas. Sorry you didn’t like this one.
