A cup of one of my faves. Yum! Just bought some more of this today and had to make a cup immediately of it. Very rich as always. No additions.

This is one of my favorite teas that I could drink all day. It’s very soothing so it’s a great relaxation or bedtime tea. It’s known to help with joint pain and period cramps. Though in order for it to be effective in healing an ailment it’s recommended to drink 3+ cups a day which could get quite expensive if your buying tea bags. This is definitely something you could grow and make your own tea out of if you wanted to. I first tried this tea at my herbal instructors home, she recommended it for me to help with my iron levels and sent me home with a handout of all the uses.

Brewing: I always brew this tea the same, using boiling water and steeping for 10+ minutes.

Actual Tasting Notes:
Very Rich, sweet medicinal flavor. The base of the tea tastes of sweet hay, with notes of spinach, and minerals which just adds to the complex richness of this tea. To many those flavors might not sound appealing but this tea is definitely worth a try.
It pairs nicely with milk and requires no sweetening. I actually think sweetening this tea would ruin it and make it very cloying.
I think this tea especially appeals to those who really enjoy chamomile tea.

Last tea bag in the box so it’s a Sipdown.
(tasting notes after Rant):
So I seem to really enjoy licorice flavored teas if they are blended with a bunch of other spices. Another one of my favorites is Stash’s Licorice Spice tea. Unfortunately licorice can be very overpowering and for some stupid reason it’s added to fruit teas etc. and you can only taste the licorice. They also do this with lemongrass and hibiscus.
Tasting Notes: the dry teabag smells very sweet, like licorice and fennel.
The flavor is the same as the smell of the dry tea bag when brewed. This tea is great when you sick and great when your not, it’s definitely not for everyone though.

Being a Singer, of the Classical Arts this Tea is literally MAGIC! The tea has an instant effect, almost as if one could “feel” the coating advertised as per the name of the product. The beautiful combination of Licorice Root & Fennel bring about an unusual but amazing taste with instant relaxing effects. If you tire your voice/throat often or simply want to show your throat some love!. This is the tea for you!

Such a lovely tea. There are so many health benefits, and not just for women. I read an article that says it’s loaded with all kinds of minerals and nutrients that benefit men, too.
It has such a nice mild flavor. It definitely tastes “green,” but it also has an ever-so-gentle kiss of a raspberry note. You can’t oversteep it, either, which makes it a perfect work tea.

Quite like this one. I’ve never encountered a tisane that tasted so close to regular black tea. I’m a fan of foods that only have one ingredient, so that’s a plus too.

It does taste a little fruity (shocking), green, and woodsy. I read somewhere that this is what the American colonists drank while protesting the British Tea Tax. They called it “Liberty Tea.” I also found out that raspberries are only native to North America and Asia Minor, so I wound up feeling pretty patriotic while drinking this down.

I’m supposed to drink three cups of this a day to reap the health benefits. I’ve been averaging about two since I bought the box. I think it’s helping maybe slightly? Could just be a placebo effect.

If nothing else, it’s definitely a good stand-in for black tea when I’m craving it at 2:00 PM but really shouldn’t be consuming caffeine.

A very sublime tisane – extremely relaxing. I grow my own spearmint spring-fall outside in my backgarden, but it is nice to have an alternative source for a good cup. I prefer spearmint over other kinds of mint (although I like and grow other kinds of mint too). I have drank this while sick, and also it is one of my top 3 favorite bedtime relaxation tisanes ( the others are chamomile lavender & nighty night valerian – both also from Traditional Medicinals). Once you start steeping it puts out a wonderful aroma that fills a whole room! It is sweet and crisp – and feels nice and cool on the throat. Just wonderful. Organic and fair trade. Steeped for 10 minutes in boiling water. Drank plain.

This Organic Weightless Cranberry tea is what I always use right after my period or during times of extreme inflammation (or when I’ve had too much IV fluid after a surgery) to eliminate water weight. For use by women and men.

Do not use if pregnant or breastfeeding, have a kidney disease, are under 12, or are dehydrated (as per instructions on box). The description this tea (created by another user) needs to be updated but I cannot do that until my acct is a month old, so here are the updated ingredients until I can edit it : organic fennel fruit, organic red clover, organic uva ursi leaf, organic parsley leaf, organic cleavers herb, organic hibiscus flower, organic roasted chicory root, organic cranberry fruit, organic stevia leaf. As per box instructions I use just boiled water and steep 10-15 mins, drinking 3 cups a day for 2-3 days. If you are trying to lose weight in general this tea is not for you, it is only meant to be used for relief of temporary water weight bloat.

The flavor of this tea is pleasant. The cranberry and hibiscus are the strongest tastes, giving a pleasantly tart fruit flavor. This taste intermingles with the anise flavor from the fennel, and the sweetness of the stevia to create a delicious cuppa that you will want to drink more often that you should haha. But is best to only drink it when you need to as per box instructions, as these herbs are very potent. The tea is ruby red in color and is very pretty to look at. A mainstay in my cupboard.

Extremely relaxing! The chamomile and lavender are equally balanced to create a delicate floral treat. The lemon balm is in the background. I am a big lavender fan and was worried this tea would be too weak since it is bagged -but it is incredible! Traditional Medicinals never seems to let me down!! Trouble dragging ratings on tablet – I steep it 10 mins or more, with just boiled water. I’ m kinda miffed that chamomile is not an option to add to the noticed flavors box.

Red raspberry leaves are well- known to have medicinal value during a woman’s menstruation to help ease cramping . I use this tea all throughout my period, and it is a life-saver. Been using this for years. Flavor is similar to black tea.

Pros: The taste here isn’t so cloying as the Throat Coat. It just has a general herbal medicine taste.

Cons: It’s pretty obvious that Throat Coat soothes throats, at least temporarily. I never noticed any effect from this one. Didn’t do anything for my congestion.

Blech, so sweet. Way too much licorice root in this tea, at least flavor-wise. I don’t know if licorice root has a medicinal value?. Of course no one is drinking this for the taste anyway. It definitely took some of the pain out of my sore throat.

It didn’t fend off my cold, but points for effective symptom relief.

Hope you’ll feel better soon!

Thank you! I am definitely on the mend — I don’t have that dragging feeling of doom that came over me when the cold was in full swing — there’s just a little lingering congestion now, but I am kind of a wimp about colds. Just not used to being sick.
