Love the fennel and liquorish taste to this tea. It’s very sweet on it’s own and doesn’t need honey added to it. It’s been a life saver with my coughing from my upper respiratory infection. It seems to soothe it. I can get multiple steepings out of one bag.

Big day at work. I barely slept and woke up nauseous. Time for some ginger tea! This didn’t taste especially ginger-y, but it quite did the trick. Got me out the door, at least.

Tangy with a hint of sweetness. This has a very strong ginger flavor, which is great right now because I have a cold, but might be overwhelming if my sense of smell were working properly. I think this is great for colds and probably stomach issues, but I don’t know that I would drink it as an everyday tea.

I used 1 teabag in a 16 oz mug, steeped for about 5 minutes.

I find this one works great when when I have an upset stomach!

The natural sweetness from the licorice root plays well off everything else. I hate licorice candy, but I love this tea. I never need to add sweetner. This tea is perfect just as it is, and gets better the longer it steeps.

This shit is nasty and works really well. For illness or singing. Sure beats guzzling honey.

The flavor of this is magical. I love that I can taste both flavors equally. The sweetness of the lavender compliments the apple/floral of the chamomile. It’s perfect. And now I’m off to sleep! Sweet dreams Steepster!!

Initial taste test demonstrates this tea be reminiscent of ginger milk tea from the teahouse I used to go to after english classes at the college where I did my technical degree.
Moreover the taste of hot shamomille is like the home remedy I still use for having caught a cold. While this is not an everyday tea, you will be hard pressed to find fault with it as a general restorative.

Compared to the regular Throat Coat tea from this company, this tastes like it has significantly less liquorice in it. Therefore, I like it better. Throat is still scratchy so time for some soup.

feel better!

I haven’t tried any of the throat coat teas….and less licorice is definitely an improvement on anything.

Feel better!!!!

Well, it seems I’m catching a cold, right on the tail end of my flu experience. Joy!

I added some (local, organic, unprocessed) honey like the box suggests and it’s REALLY sweet (and I didn’t even add that much honey either). Good thing I like sweet and this is almost even too sweet for me.

I don’t like this tea much for taste because of my feelings on licorice but I’ll brave it due to my scratchy throat. It’s better now than it was this morning, but it’s still very uncomfortable.

I really need to get more sleep, although I doubt I’ll get it because I need to clean the house before the catsitters arrive on Friday and leave for the airport at 4:30am on Friday morning. So much fun.

I love this tea. I drink it all alone without anything to alter its taste. It’s already tasty on its own. Just the right amount of mint to make you feel refreshed.

Don’t try to drink this tea cold though, I tried it out of curiosity and made me feel disoriented.

Strangely sweet and quite effective with lots of honey. Tastes a lot better than cough syrup at least. I steep the whole 15 minutes, covered, and then usually forget to take the bag out.

This is not supposed to taste good, but is rather pleasing. Taste Medicinal (Which isn’t surprising) but wasn’t hard to drink at all. Hard to tell if its helping, but we will know in time.

I was introduced to this tea about a year ago and I absolutely love it! It is a great way to unwind and ease into the evening. The flavors are very complimentary to each other, neither one being too overpowering.

This is more an herbal tea blend than a maté, the pleasant lemon flavour being derived from lemongrass and lemon myrtle leaves. While pleasant, lemon overpowers the maté to the point that it is not possible to distinguish its true flavour.

This tea, I believe, can not be rated accurately due to the fact that I use it for a sleep -aide. If I was rating it for taste, it would probably be around a 50%. However, the overall experience is much better. The aroma promotes relaxation and almost reminds me of eucalyptus or mint.

I have not yet been able to master a great sleepy time tea with loose leaf; therefore, this is the best bet.

I don’t steep it as long as it suggests (10-15 minutes), because I like to drink at least two cups. Also, I enjoy adding eleutherococcus herbal supplement to assist in the ‘sedation’ effects. :)

This is the worst tea I have ever had. Definitely can tell that it coats your throat, which is fine, but it tastes like liquorish to me which is really nasty. Overpowering liquorish tea.
