Need to watch my water temp on this. I really ruined the first cup. Blech. I’m glad it was my fault but sad I ruined this tea.

Oh no!

Hadn’t heard about this one yet! It’s been so long since I’ve placed a RoT mail order I think the catalog has given up on me.

Long single-bag steep in a large pot.

I loved that you could actually taste the green tea, and that this did not just taste like apple cider. Aside from that, I was not too enthused about this tea, especially the tartness of the apple…that taste just doesn’t seem to belong in a tea, in my opinion.

Very tasty, reminded me of bubble gum.

Blah. Must be picking the wrong teas tonight. Great scent of blackberry but not much taste. Not smelling or tasting any sage. I think I will treat myself to some hibiscus tea that I love since I’ve had two mediocre cups.

Bummer :( I liked this tea last time I had it, but it was the prebottled version.

You stopped me from buying it – I trust your judgment. Guess I’ll have to find a way to craft my own blackberry and sage tea…with mint, of course! :)

I happen to have two bags left in my travelers tin if you want to take a go at it. It smells so wonderful but just doesn’t transfer to the taste.

Brewed a half cup then iced it down. Poured it into a blender with one container plain greek yogurt, one sliced peach, 1 tablespoon orange blossom honey, and about 1/2 cup vanilla almond milk to make a rather thin but yummy smoothie. Served in a tall glass with a few cubes of ice.

1) this was a RoT free sample with their catalog
2) yes, I’m on a smoothie/latte kick lately. Can’t seem to drink a plain ol’ cup of tea. I guess it’s the warmer weather. Or the fact that I keep buying almond milk and trying to use it up. It will pass, I will drink and log “real” tea again one day!

Backlogging I had this on tues. I got this as a free sample in a teabag. This smells like peach and abit of ginger. I steeped it up and now can smell the ginger more and the green tea. This has a medium peach taste with abit of ginger and a pleasant green tea. I think this is pretty good.

It is in fact very refreshing and yummy iced. However I steeped it too hot, so I’m not ready to give a rating yet.

tastes like a balanced blend of lavender and rooibos, with a hint of rose. Not too perfumey or too woody or too “herby.” Ok I guess. Will let you know if it calms me down. I do like the scent, but could do with less rose…

Be lucky you don’t have my tongue- I get all rose lol. Love it:)

I made a pot of Republic Red Chai a few days ago and kept it in the refrigerator. I put a little bit of sugar in while it was still warm. Served it cold with plain soymilk…..what a refreshing drink!
