Pre morning class, frantically running around cup of tea. Hurrah.
My boyfriend was wise to give me this. Its great, when you want something tasty, not exceptional, and quick. This will do it!

Done so far this morning-
Taking friends to airport.
Petted the cat.
Grocery shopping
Worked out
Ate lunch.
Now, more tea, then more errands, and then back to taking care of the cat for the evening. Sheesh. This weekend moves so quickly.
A good solid cup of tea is required. This follows those specifications. Good.
Gosh I’m tired.

Its gonna be a long day!
I’ve got my morning shift, and then I have to go and tend to the morning session of animal care. I’m pet sitting two ducks, a parakeet, fifteen canaries and a cat.
The ducks are jerks.
Then I’ve got my Nanowrimo writing, and some work for one of my bosses, and working out, and then my evening class, and then collapse. Whew.
An easy tea is required.
This is also proof that you should give teas a chance. I love ginger, but am kinda meh on peach. If this hadnt been a gift from my boyfriend, I might never have had it, and yet I really, really like it now.

mj

LOL how could the ducks be jerks? I guess I’m biased though because I grew up across the street from what I called “the duck pond” and I’ve always like ducks a lot.

Cameron B.

Ducks and geese are certainly jerks in the wild, even when you’re trying to feed them. Biters! Lol.

mj

Haha I used to feed the ducks all the time and they never bit me. They were “wild” in that they did not belong to anyone but they did live in the middle of my neighborhood. Though, they were not pleased when I stole some ducklings and brought them home to live in my pool, understandably so (don’t judge too harshly, I was about 6 years old)

gmathis

My mom used to tell about an “attack goose” that was highly protective of the young’uns in her family. Delivery men beware!

The enternal question- why is it so hard to wake up?
I’ve said before, but I stand behind my opinion, that you need at least one good bagged tea, for the hurry up and go mornings.
Ginger peach fills that niche.
Sip, sip, sigh.

TheTeaFairy

I agree with your theory!

Early morning cuppa, before going off to work.
Good. Gingery! Other positive discriptive words!
Can you tell I’m exsausted?

sherapop

I can indeed see that you are “exsausted”! ;-)

This tasting note is written at full speed! Nothing today has gone according to plan, with surprise inspections, extra hours, and a sudden trip to the next city over. AND I have one more class to teach tonight, in about an hour.
Gah.
I have a headache, and am exsausted, and I dont have time for much other then some pain meds and a cup of tea.
It had to be quick, had to be good without being great, and had to be easy to brew up. Bingo.
Rosehips, away!

Was feeling somewhat queesy before I went to work (why am I so nervous? Why?!?!), and a hot cup of ginger tea sounded like just the thing. So I brewed up a quick cup of this to sip on while I got ready.
I was right. It helped.
Hopefully at the next office I work in, there will be a place to make hot water, so I can drink tea all day. That would help everything (except perhaps my productivity)

Up early, and a cup of this to fortify me.
I’m liking this more and more as I keep drinking it. Of course, I looooove ginger, so anything wiht ginger in it makes me perk right up. Yum yum! I am that kind of person that, when out to sushi, I will eat all the garnish ginger off my plate, and then all of my dates ginger as well.
So, in summation, ginger for the win!

TeaBrat

I love ginger too!

I’ve done it! I’ve finished up 50k for Camp Nanowrimo! A day ahead of schedule! Whee!
I have decided to celebrate with this cup of sweet and spicy tea.
I am very pleased with myself, though now I need to face the grim reality of revisions. Whew.

Oh I needed tea. I needed it beyond all reason. I had to do the early shift without even a single cup of the stuff. Wah!
I’m off to a lecture on modern art, and so I’m charging up with this spicy cup.
Onwards!

The bookworms delemma. I know I need to get up early for work, but the book is so fun that I want to lay in bed reading the night before.
As you can imagine, this is not brilliant for the sleep schedule.
But, this is the tea drinkers solution!

gmathis

What were you reading?

Rosehips

I’m reading “The Name of the Wind” by Patrick Rothfuss. Also a historical book about the history of dueling, but it was “Wind” that kept me up last night.

Early this morning I needed a quick cup of tea. This was the one.
Good, simple, fast. Just my shorthand for a quick morning.

Someday, when I have my life all figured out, I will not need to wake up early. That will be the day I know I’ve made it.
Sitting here, bleery, and ready to fall back into the embrace of my bed, but that wont do. Lots to do today, work, writing, and working out all needs to be done.
Away!
Very gingery this morning. Good. Thats just the way I like it.

Early morning glug. Come on tea, do your stuff!
Its going to be a long day, when I just want to sit and read my book all day. Oh well, gotta go earn the money to buy the books! And tea!

Veronica

Books and tea… I can’t think of a better way to spend money!

Last cup of tea before work today. I’m getting more ginger than peach this morning. I am 100% behind it. Yum.

Second cup of the morning.
I never picked this up myself, it was a gift from th bf, but he did a good job. I’m not much one for peaches, though I am a devotee of ginger. But this is well balanced an tasty blend.
I like it.

More tea! More tea!
Time for the second try of this tea, the lovely valentines gift from my boyfriend. (Good man. He knows me well).
I, somewhat to my surprise, like this. The ginger was a given. I love ginger. But I have more mixed feeling as peach.
But the blend here is lovely. Light, slightly spicy, and a bit sweet. Good.

sherapop

This was always one of my favorite fruit blends from Republic of Tea. I haven’t had a can in quite some time. Maybe I should do something about that!

My significant other is a romantic soul, and knew the way to make me feel happy was a gift of tea. So he took himself bravely into the tea aisle, and hunted around, and this is what he came away from.
I love ginger. Majorly love ginger. I am less wild about peaches, but I’ve heard good things about this tea, so I was happy when, after our romantic dinner of mac n’ cheese and champange, he brewed me up a cup of this, as we split chocolate for dessert.
Its good! I’ll happily experiment around with it, but its a nice combination of sweet fruit and savory ginger, and my first cup was very nice.
Obviously you will all get updates on my opinion as I keep drinking this.

I got a decaf version of this in the bulk section of a local supermarket. I knew that there was a chance a pomegranate tea would have hibiscus and boy does it ever! Blech! It does get better with sugar and once it cools, but it tastes more like juice than tea.

This has been on my list of things to try, so I was delighted when it showed up in the Republic of Tea mailer.
I love caramel. I love vanilla. I am helpless in the face of cake. On the surface, this tea is exactly what the doctor ordered.
In practice? Nope. It tastes oddly chemical and fake. A faint hint of a very faux vanilla and even faker caramel. A disapointment. I will pull this off the wishlist.

Sil

Awe…. I had hopes for this one too

pyarkaaloo

this one was weird….i’m surprised at how bad i thought it was! a very faux flavor, whatever it was. i got the impression of hazelnut :/

sherapop

I agree!

This tea smells delicious, but it tastes bland with a bitter aftertaste. Not impressed.
