I got this as a sample from carol who. It doesn’t taste like rose to me at all, but similar to a fruit punch or hibiscus tea. It’s not offensive, but it’s very sweet.

I’ve been sort of up/down on my luck with Republic of Tea. This one is better than some of the others so I’m glad. I taste the orange, ginger, mint and anise. It seems to have a lingering ginger/anise aftertaste. It is quite pleasant.
Made this as a cold brew. 3 teabags and 500ml water. I put it in for about 9 hours. I really have no idea how long I should cold brew things. Any suggested guidelines?

Flavors: Anise, Ginger, Orange

I always drink this one hot, it makes a nice after dinner tea :)
I’m sure it’s tasty & refreshing cold though!

Continuing my quest for the perfect chai.
This isn’t it. It starts out nice enough, smooth – maybe just a little heavy on the cinnamon, but them WHAM the ginger/pepper (OMG spicy) slams into the back of your throat.
For my taste the spices aren’t balanced properly.

Oh well – the quest continues….

Nothing that good seems to come from the republic of tea ;-)

Found an old tin of this at my mom’s. It is the first blueberry tea I’ve actually liked, probably because the berry flavor doesn’t overpower like a lot of fruity blends. The black tea is not strong either which makes for a smooth, mellow cup that I really enjoyed.
