This tea has been a staple in my cabinet for many years—I can’t even count how many canisters I’ve bought since I first tried it! It’s a nice subtle berry tea (sometimes the red berries have a “bright” taste but the blackberry really blends well with the black tea)—perfect for morning!

A good alternative to standard black tea.

Smells like gummy bears. A really interesting tea. I’m looking forward to trying this with sugar or iced.

Even with no decaf-ing, and a 3 min steep at 195F, I’m still not thrilled. Less astringent this time, but it’s just very bland for a flavored black tea.

30 second decaffeination rinse. First sip way more astringent than I expected. Added a little half & half and 1 packet of stevia, still not thrilled. I’m going to try again tomorrow morning and see how the flavor is with no decaf time, and a 3 minute steep.

Disappointingly boring. The leaves have a soothing fragrance, so I was looking forward to a nice cup. However it simply tastes like a bland black tea.

This is the tea that got me into drinking tea. It is my favorite selection in the Republic of Tea brand.

A good example of an Earl Grey tea.

Disappointing. The mint flavour isn’t as strong as I generally like.

My friends call this the TEA OF SOBERING. Yes that did require caps, thank you very much. This tea goes from light and delicate to punch in the face strong in the blink of an eye when brewing. It has a delightful flavour either way and is one of my favorite Republic of Tea selections.

I am not impressed by this tea. It tastes like flavored water. I borrowed some of it from a friend and don’t know how old it is.

The first tea that ever piqued my interest in green tea. It’s been a while, but this is an old favorite. A little caffeine plus refreshing mint. Nice.

Iced this and sipped it all day long. The peppermint is a really nice flavor when cold or hot.

This tea has a nice strong acai flavor without being overpowering.

Trying to wind down from the day. I’d forgotten how nice chamomile can be. This one is very soothing and a bit medicinal in taste. But I do like that sort of thing. I’ll be using this “Surrender to Sleep Herb Tea” instead of Sleepytime from now on.

Long, boring day. Perfect time for Earl Greyer! And since this is the last of my sample tin I’m pulling off the labels and using it as a travel tin.

This is the stereotype of how I always thought tea should taste. I love it. Good for an afternoon pick me up on hour 7 at work.

As noted in the picture, this tea has a very light yellow liqueur. Suiting, because this tea is very light overall, as is typical with White tea. I am not a huge fan of light teas, but this white tea is quite suiting for the headache I have and the rain outside: very subtlety sweet and refreshing.

It has a light and smooth body. The fruity flavor in this tea lingers. There is negligible but noticeable briskness. The aroma off the nose from both the tea bags and brew is very light.

Rating: 80%
