Holy hell this is amazing. The blackberry if perfect, the delicious graham cracker (waffle?) taste. Just so good. Dessert in a cup. I’m going to try it as a latte for my next cup, because it was amazing straight.
Flavors: Blackberry, Cookie, Graham, Honey
Big no from me. I kinda got some of the sherbet flavors on the aftertaste a little bit. But that was after I fought through all of the bitterness of the green tea along with what tastes like an acrid rose petal flavor. I just dumped out a full tea pot.
Flavors: Bitter, Flowers, Lime
Preparation
Not leaving a rating because this is an older sample which may have lost its flavor due to improper storage. That being said, I didn’t get any marshmallow from this: just a strong, astringent black tea with a hint of toasted rice.
Flavors: Astringent, Toasted Rice

Cold Brew Sipdown (264)
I think with my endless studying, I just want to finish stuff so I have been drinking easy sipdowns all day. This one has been cold steeping for the day. It is a bit light on flavor though. The orange is muted so when I first drink, the beginning of the sip doesn’t taste like anything really and then I get some faint orange which melts into marshmallow. Though the flavor is accurate, it is not as strong as I would have hoped but that could be age. Thank you Sil for the share!

Thank you Sil for the share. I got to this hot today and it is really quite good. The smell is dead-on for s’mores. The tea is quite so accurate but still very good. There is a lot of smoke and a lot of marshmallow. The chocolate is more carob at times but this time around I am getting some graham notes as well. Certainly a fun tea to try and this cup is a nice way to say goodbye.
I have been on a bit of S’mores kick this week after visiting this chocolate shop that does dipped ice cream cones. I got a S’mores cone and it was ah-mazing!! Soo good. Look at it: https://www.instagram.com/p/BYW7iHCFWxQ/?taken-by=rachel12610 I have since been to that shop 2 more times this week since people have wanted to try it.
Since I think I should probably lay off the ice cream for a few days at least, I figured I could get my S’mores fix some other way and luckily Sil was kind enough to share some of this tea for me to try.
I made it hot but ended up watching a movie and getting distracted so it is cold now which is a bit sad as I imagine this would have been good before. That is not to say it is not good now because it is, I just think hot might have suited the flavor better.
This is a little bit smokey and has a chocolate flavor from the malty base but also from the bits of chocolate (carob?) in the blend. There is also definite marshmallow here. It is lacking the graham crackers which is kinda sad but it still makes for a pretty good cuppa. Thank you Sil!
Thanks Sil. I think I need to work on drinking the teas I have first though lol.
And Fjellrev, trust me, it tastes even better than it looks.
I completely forgot about the maple aspect of this tea when I reached for it today. Delicious, even though the maple came as a surprise.
For some reason, I was thinking Cinnabon when I decided to steep this up. I mean, I have had a few cups of this tea, so I theoretically know that it is not Cinnabon.
You know when you are expecting one thing and you get something a bit different?
Yeah, well.
This is a very delicious tea. Just don’t expect Cinnabon.
Thank you, VariaTEA :)
Yes, indeed. The base is not my first choice, but the delicate cinnamon and maple overlay ties all the things together for me.
I am going to give it a whirl today in my traveling mugs to see how it fares. I am thinking that the flavourings are strong enough to hold up. Stay tuned.
Thank you, VariaTEA, for your generosity, and to Sil for the delivery and for not liking it too much :)
This may have been the first of the Necessi Teas samples I tried. I liked it. I liked it a lot. And as I kept trying others, I knew that I will be making an order with them at some point because their teas are yum. I do detect some sort of trademark flavour among them.
Here, I recall vanilla, custard, and the slightest hint of cinnamon. Just up my alley.
Thanks for this one, VariaTEA. I am a fan.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Custard, Vanilla

This sample has been kicking around my desk drawer at work for months now; I think it came from a swap with Sophia. I finally brewed it up today as a little afternoon pick-me-up and was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it! Despite the age of the sample, the flavor remains strong. And it’s a true banana flavor: sweet and ripe and not at all artificial. I’m also picking up on some strawberry. No chocolate, but that’s okay…the banana/strawberry combination is delicious and combined with a nice smooth rooibos base, it’s a great little treat! This one may be finding its way back into my cupboard at some point.

Finito! Yep…finished up this one today because for whatever reason i was off my groove and not drinking a lot but wanted to at least get a few more sipdowns before all the teas start coming in from today’s orders. I haven’t even considered the damage to my weight goal – just hoping i can still feel accomplished by the end of the year. I did NOT order more of this today but i may at a later date. for now, suffice to say i enjoy the creamy orange of this one.

Very nearly done this one as well. Not too shabby…i think my oldest tea in the cupboard is July? or something like that (ignoring the puerh) so that’s fantastic! Still enjoying this one, especially as it’s been crazy! It’s not omg crazy to die for or anything like that but it’s been tasty and enjoyable as a herbal.

Never thought to try this with milk. Hmm…
Do it! That creamy goodness is to die for.
