I’ve never tried to cold steep this tea before, so I thought I would give it a shot since the weather is back up in the 80s. It didn’t turn out quite like I expected, I remember this tea having a much stronger peach flavor, but all I could taste was the ginger. Most likely I left it to steep longer than I should have so I won’t give this a rating yet.
Preparation
i thought this was a fun idea for a tea, and i tried it hot and iced both, but it just didn’t stand out for me. maybe not strong enough of apples, maybe not quite flavorful enough to capture my whimsy. i’m sorry to say i can’t recommend it. but there you go.
Preparation
well i liked this simple blend better than i expected, but it’s not one i find myself going back to or wanting to share with others. i think there are better things to do with rooibos than adding peppermint. so there you go.
Preparation
this tea isn’t anything unique, but i tried several black tea with peach, and this is the one i kept going back to. i only drink it iced, but it’s the most natural-tasting, non-astringent, flavorful peach black tea i’ve found. so there you go.
Preparation
nicely balanced blend of rooibos with chocolate and mint. it works, and is a pleasant dessert tea with a tsp of sugar to add body and bring it all together. not an everyday tea for me, but one i thoroughly enjoy when i’m in the mood for it, and one i often recommend to guests. so there you go.
Preparation
it’s a nice mug of hot tea, really it is, but the rooibos overpowers everything else. i wanted a raspberry-chocolate tea, and instead i got a vanilla rooibos tea with a twist. just didn’t live up to MY expectations, so there you go.
Preparation
lemon myrtle is what this tea is about. the mint, normally a powerful addition to any tea blend, is barely noticeable behind the lemon. (in fact, be careful not to steep this in a plastic mug, as the plastic will smell like lemons for a very long time) enjoy the aroma of lemon drop candy, naturally sweet, soothing experience. add the peppermint, and you have a tea that is good for headaches, digestion, colds, any other ailment…this is a comforting hot tea, and an interesting iced tea for something different! so there you go.
Preparation
This is versatile… as a hot tea, it has a nice black tea base with sweet blueberry, tart blackberry, gentle citrus notes. Very nice. As an iced tea, it is fruity, refreshing, and the hibiscus gives it nice color. Can’t go wrong with this one! There you go.
Preparation
okay, first of all, gunpowder green tea is not my favorite of the green teas. but with that said, if you’re going to drink gunpowder, drink the temple of heaven (pinhead) grade. and i stuck this brand next to two other temple of heavens, and this one was the sweetest and didn’t have any offensive notes to it. i’d have to say it’s as good as it gets, plus it is organic. so there you go.
Preparation
a little bit boring. i mean, the vanilla is nice, the aroma is definitely vanilla, and the black tea is gentle. there’s just nothing here that makes it stand out and be memorable, but if you’re looking for a vanilla black tea, yeah, this is a nice one. so there you go.
Preparation
love this tea. you DO have to add a little sugar to bring it all together, but then, wow, what a dessert tea, what luxury. i was sampling this tea out at a farmer’s market, and a lady sipped it and started shouting to strangers, “everyone, come here and try this tea!!!” after an awkward couple of minutes, i sold out of buccaneer tea. so there you go.
