I haven’t this in a while. Very yummy. I like this one because it isn’t as fruity as some other flavored teas.

I was very much in the mood for something with a hint of lychee this morning.

One of my favorite flavored teas from Lupicia. Partly because I’m a big fan of the fruit in general. <3

Tastes too powerful with too many competing flavours. Might work better iced?

I am relatively new to darjeeling teas. I liked it for the simple clean taste and glad it wasn’t salty like the Sakura Premium. Still, this isn’t a tea I reach for often.

This is a light naturally sweet tea. You can brew it longer or add more tea leaves than normal.

I liked this tea but didn’t love it. It tasted like a sweet tea and for some reason I couldn’t make out the tropical flavours. I should have made it iced instead I think.

I have never tried this tea iced but loved it hot with just a bit of milk – the flavour still held with 2 infusions. Very unique tea with a nice sweet strawberry taste.

This tea smells wonderful and the peach flavour in this tea is different from other peach teas I have tasted (in a good way). It reminds me of other asian peach desserts that I have tried in the past.

Smells more fruit-like than regular green teas, and has less of an aftertaste.

This is a “black” oolong. I usually prefer the “green” oolongs, but I really liked this tea. It’s smooth and a little smoky, with some interesting things going on with the flavour in the aftertaste. Steeped for one minute in water just below boiling point.

Just noticed that it’s my steepster anniversary – I created my account a year ago today. Thanks, guys. It’s been quite a ride.

This is a tea that’s a favourite now, but I didn’t know it existed when I started logging my teas here a year ago. It’s just one of the great tea discoveries I’ve made along the way.

Visiting another comfort tea to help get over a week of painkillers and ick. This one starts with a great, peachy aroma, and then follows through with the taste. Time for some more…

Backlogging…

Had an insanely busy day yesterday and realised at 2.00 this morning when I was still working that I’d somehow not had a single cup of tea all day! So I made some of this, one of my favourite comfort teas.

I love the aroma of the leaves and of the brewed tea, and the taste is just right, a really nice balance between the peach and the flavour of the tea. This tea always has a place in my tea cupboard.

All of you people posting about peach teas reminded me that I haven’t had any of this since I got back from my trip. I’ve now fixed that state of affairs.

This is still really good, still one of my favourite flavoured teas. There’s something about the combination of peach and oolong that works really well together, more so than many other fruit flavoured teas I’ve tried, and something about this peach oolong in particular that especially works for me. This really does taste like peach rather than peach flavouring, and the balance of the flavour and the tea is just right.

I got a bit overenthusiastic and used a little too much leaf this time, and used boiling water instead of water at just slightly below boiling point, so I ended up with a slightly stronger flavour and just a little more astringency than I prefer. Will make sure to go back to my usual method with this tea next time.

LOL! So it’s a peach pandemic now? I’ve noticed that too actually. Peaches peaches peaches. Not too fond of peaches myself, so I’ll wait for the next trend. :)

Jillian

LOL, well I think my Stash peach oolong is the only peach-flavoured thing I own so in my case you won’t have to wait too long for me to move to something else. XD

Luthien

Oh, feel free to keep posting about peach teas. I like them! wonders what the next big thing will be g

Suzi

I hope the next big wave is blueberries; I just love blueberry tea! Peach is good too tho’ :-p

Hyrulehippie

I already logged the peach sample I had…I’ll have to sit this one out. Then again, I do take credit for starting an Almond Avalanche, so I can wait out the Peach Pandemic.

Feel free to ignore my ridiculousness. >__<

Luthien

@suzi I’ve never had a blueberry tea. I will have to hunt one down!

@hyrulehippie You definitely get points for the Almond Avalanche. ;-)

Suzi

Luthien – Adagio has had my favorite blueberry tea so far, very natural like fresh berries, but Lupicia had a really nice blueberries & cream blend that tasted like a blueberry muffin. Yum!

Luthien

@suzi Thanks for the suggestions! I can’t order from Adagio sniffle because they won’t ship to Australia, but I will see what the Australian Lupicia store has on offer.

Working my way through some favourites this week. When a fruit flavoured tea misses the mark, it tends to really miss the mark. But when it works, it’s… this.

Got some more of this. Yay! Trying it a bit stronger, 1.5 teaspoons of leaves to the cup, and it’s working out really well. Every aspect of it is just that little bit more, and still a great taste.

Only half a teaspoon of this left, so… I made half a cup. g

Mmm. Great tea. My sample’s almost gone, so I’ve just ordered a full packet. Definitely a tea to keep on hand.

Another fruit flavoured tea success. This really seems to be the week for it. The peach flavour smells and tastes exactly like white peaches and, while it’s strong enough that you can’t miss it, it’s also not strong to the point of overpowering the other elements of the tea. Just lovely.
