I LOVE this tea!!!! It’s definitely my favorite from Kusmi, so I was sad to learn that it has been discontinued! Apparently it was not well-liked by customers (which now I can see based on the reviews from this site), but I’m devastated. The mix of black teas was so interesting and took some getting used to, but it ended up being perfect for cold, snowy evenings. I would prepare it using my samovar, which just made the whole experience wonderful. Too bad I can’t get it anywhere, now.
Flavors: Chocolate
Preparation
This blend can do very no wrong. Incredibly fragrant hot, refreshing iced. (Ideal hot, to be honest.) Smells amazing; tastes exactly like it smells. It’s easy to brew without messing up.
The chocolate actually does come through. I will say that some might find it bitter or a little overwhelming.
Flavors: Chocolate, Orange
Preparation
Spicy, very aromatic. Owerpowering. Spicy chai and orange. Cardemmom, cloves, less cinamon. Black tea. Very smooth blend, very cozy. Milk and sugars are a must – Treat it like a chai.
Flavors: Almond, Anise, Cardamon, Spicy
Preparation
Out of their Earl Grey influenced teas, I liked this one the best. Easy everyday, early morning wake up tea! Just perfect for the spring that’s coming soon (it’s less than a month away!!) It’s just a hint of floral, kind of creamy tasting. Might try to have it iced. On the fence of ordering again. Glad I tried it!!!
Preparation
I grew up on Good Earth Sweet & Spicy. My parents probably helped bring it outside of California when it first came from the Good Earth restaurant chain back in the 80’s This tea didn’t stand out for me since it reminds me of a dulled out orange spiced tea a la Good Earth Sweet & Spciy. It’s just ok to me, maybe since I get spice overload when I make my own chai, too.
Preparation
I kind of like Earl Grey. I got this included in the Russian sampler set. For being a Kusmi tea, I honestly didn’t think it tasted much different from any other Earl Grey I’ve had. Their other selection which are Earl Greyish stood out. Had no problem drinking it, but won’t rebuy.
Preparation
This tea I blew through so quick, I didn’t even have time to note it! It’s the best earl grey I’ve had. I am not a crazy fan of earl grey, but this one I enjoyed. It would of been good iced, but I drank it only hot. It’s a blend of yummy citrus.
Preparation
Hmmm. I thought I liked this over the BB Detox, but it’s the other way around. For sure. Perhaps I haven’t had a mate’ before. The smell made me immediately think I walked into a wood shop—-when I went to buy cedar planks for my garden. Or just like the candles that I love with cedar fragrance. Am I drinking wood?? The taste was smooth at least—-cedar and lemongrass….it was a very genuine wood smell/taste. Just not my thing. It will be difficult to finish my tin—I will have others try it when they come over….maybe find a taker. My only disappointment from Kusmi. This is for mate lovers only
Flavors: Cedar, Green, Lemongrass
Preparation
I had this in the sachet—-I only added a little honey. It is nice. Not really strong grapefruit comes through. I try to compare this to their Detox, which should have more lemon notes and I thought I liked better. I like this tea, but would not be first choice for enjoyment. I don’t seem to like lemongrassy things as I think I would. Too dry and grassy (duh) , I like my fruit juicy and acidic apparently….
Flavors: Grapefruit, Green, Lemongrass
Preparation
First try of this tea. I have a lot of Kusmi and have never been disappointed—this was no exception. Great base tea, and very light floral. Nothing jumped out at me, just overall lovely floral mix.
Flavors: Floral
