I just made myself a glass of this, iced. It didn’t need any sweeteners at all, though I was tempted to add a spoonful of honey. This tea has a light, lemony, fresh taste and I recommend it highly.

At the suggestion of a friend, I tried this as a latte with chocolate milk. The result? Not only is this tea delicious but it’s also quite decadent! It is very similar to ‘Read My Lips’ by David’s Tea, but definitely has a bit of rooibos flavor to it.

Something I look for in any tea with peppermint in it is how powerful the mint is and how long it lingers. This tea does not disappoint, and the mint does linger pleasantly but is not overpowering to the rest of the flavors in the tea.

drank Banana Nut Bread by DAVIDsTEA

I was a little hesitant about trying this tea, because I have a love-hate relationship with bananas… but I’m so glad that I did!

The suggested steeping time is 4-7 minutes, but I just left the tea in. I think this approach might be best. Some bits (I think it’s banana) floats to the top, but it’s all delicious anyway. This tea reminds me a little bit of the banana flavoured penicillin I had as a child, so depending on whether or not you liked that taste, you might like of hate this tea!

drank The Earl's Garden by DAVIDsTEA

Clearly, the Earl was a super spy. I say that because this tea is SECRET black tea disguised by the taste of a Herbal, Berry Tea. I agree with some of the other comments: it doesn’t taste like an Earl Grey at all.

I want to try it it iced and blended with lemonade though, I have a feeling that would be good.

I’m not fond of Earl Grey, though sometimes only the Earl will do. But I love the Earl’s Garden mad hot with a bit of stevia. No, not an Earl Grey, but the bergamot is there, dancing — if feverishly — with real (!) strawberry.

This tea reminds me of the Caribbean, which is pretty awesome considering I’m close to staring a Canadian Winter in the face.

What I love about white tea is the subtle taste and ‘White Malibu’ delivers just that with a sweet hint of coconut. If that on it’s own isn’t enough to make you love this tea, the fact that it smells just like rum ought to!

I enjoyed mine hot with sugar, but I think what I’d really like is to try it the way David’s Tea suggests: Iced, with a dash of rum…and sipped from a straw out of half a coconut (held by a cabana boy.)

Wonderful cold steeper.

I left this overnight in the fridge, although I think it’s palatable much sooner than that. Peppermint has always been a flavour I’ve enjoyed, so this more than met my expectations.

8 tsp in a 1 liter jug, steeped overnight

Iced

I absolutely love peppermint flavor, and this doesn’t disappoint. How pepperminty is it? Incredibly pepperminty!
Sometimes I throw a little bit of this into other herbal/rooibos teas I have.
This is one of the “teas” I drink at night, because of course its caffeine free.

drank Pumpkin Chai by DAVIDsTEA
96 tasting notes

I had Pumpkin Chai today. It is absolutely one of my favorite tea’s from David’s Tea but because it’s seasonal I tend to be stingy with it and save it for only special occasions. This tea is spicy, flavourful and stands up to a good long steeping. Great with milk, or a dollop of whipped cream (When I make whipped cream, I don’t add sugar, just vanilla).

I don’t sweeten this tea, I don’t find that it needs it at all, but if you wanted it to taste even more like pumpkin pie than it already does, perhaps sugar might suit you.

Out of the fall tea collection, without a doubt this is the one I will miss the most even though it’s winter counterpart, Chili Chocolate Chai, is equally as delicious.

Goodbye, Comrade.

I have four of the small gift tins of this tea, and I hoard them like Gollum. One was a gift, and the other three I talked a salesperson into getting from the back because they were dented/scratched, so I got them half price.

They need to bring this back as a regular.

This is the tea that made me give up coffee forever. It tastes exactly like Irish Cream, and sweetened with a bit of milk and sugar it’s definitely one of my favorites. I cannot get enough.

Mmmmm….sounds delish. I love David’s Tea.

David’s Tea is ridiculously good, I can’t get enough of their blends!

So, sometimes you just have to take the basket of bits-and-bops pouches and just empty it out on the floor or table to see what’s there … and when you do, you find wonderful and lovely surprises like this.

With half-and-half, this is creamy and sweet and good. If I had any self-control whatsoever, it would be sufficient for dessert without any dessert. (But when your son puts three birthday cake Oreos directly in your hand…)

So we always buy way too much Halloween candy, accidentally of course, and I wanted something that would blend nicely with a fun-size Mounds or two.

This really is a nice, thick, caramelly, cake-y dessert alternative. Nice with dairy, nice on its own.

I got distracted (doesn’t take much these days) and let this sit way, way too long. Fortunately, you can’t over-roo rooibos, so the only effect that was it was extra thickish and yogurty and milky. I always thought tiramisu had a little maple in it too, which isn’t present here, but it’s a nice sweet dessert tea.

Daisy Chubb

I’ve never had tiramisu with maple, sounds delish though!

Eisenherz

Wow, you still have some of that! It’s been discontinued for so long! Lucky you!

Nice evening sit-down with this one; one end-of-package caveat—-it’s not nearly as rich and thick if you use up all the nice caramel/yogurty lumps and leave nothing but the rooibos like I did. Budget those lumps carefully.

This is a sample from Doulton I’ve been waiting and waiting to try until weather made an evening cuppa welcome. And it was worth the wait. It steeps up almost milky in texture—I guess that’s the yogurt—but is sweet and caramelly and syrupy without really needing extra additives. I’m thinking it’ll be even better with a little milk.

This tastes soooo good! Smooth, flowery, no overpowering flavors or bad taste left in my mouth. It’s also a terrific resteeper.

Very light flavour, like most white teas. It smells like a bakery and if you enjoy DavidsTea Love Tea # 7 then I would recommend this. Delicious with brown sugar, as suggested!

drank Chai Guarana by DAVIDsTEA

I drank this tea yesterday and then steeped the leaves again this morning! This tea has a spicy taste that lingers and I quite enjoy it. It’s a pretty basically chai, otherwise, but great to drink it the morning to really jump start the day!

(Especially after being out until the wee hours of the morning at a party, if you catch my drift.)

This sounds really good, I may just have to try some of this soon!

Beckara

Yes do! It’s my favorite black tea Chai from David’s, certainly!

Michelle Butler Hallett

It’s a good one. I find it has a thin body, but it’s quite tasty.

Beckara

As far as chai is concerned, this one has more to it than David’s ‘pure chai’ but isn’t as flavourful or amazing as the Chai Rooibos (which is amazing). To be honest, I drink this tea for the kick, more than anything.

This is my favorite tea, without a question.

When I steep it, I fill my infuser with half boiling water, and half heated milk that I’ve warmed either on the stove or in the microwave, and I let it all steep together. No other tea latte, chai or otherwise, comes close to the deliciousness of this blend. I’m not surprised at all that this is one of DavidsTea’s best sellers.

Add a touch of honey or agave and if you like tea on the sweet side, but it doesn’t need it.

If you’re already a fan of this tea and are looking for similar blends, I would recommend DavidsTea’s Cocoa Paradiso, Mint Chocolate Rooibos or Pure Chai

This one is VERY tasty. I should order some but need to put myself on lockdown for a bit with tea buying.

Beckara

I know what you mean! I finally decided that I had every single one of David’s Teas that I wanted…and when I was in their last night they told me they’re releasing a few more in a couple weeks. I was both delighted and chagrined.

Hi Beckara, I live in Montreal, I bought a tin of this tea but don’t Love it. Would you be interested in a trade? If not i’m willing to just give this to you, it’s one tablespoon short of 100g. please let me know, I just started drinking tea this year after receiving a promotional tea bottle from a Party company and i’m still discovering what I like and Don’t like, I would hate to see this go to waste.
