Yeah, it’s ok. Maybe it’s the age of the tea (I didn’t actually look at the packet!) or my changed tastebuds.
The oily sheen from the chocolate bits is always disconcerting, and I really dislike the stevia. I don’t hate it, but I get an aftertaste that isn’t the best.
Wouldn’t buy again, but it’s fun to try!
Had the last of it today. There was enough for more than cup but less than 2 cups. It came out slight bitter because of the smaller broken tea leaves and the lack of the pineapple bits at the bottom. It is quite nutty and I can taste the slight bit of the oiliness of the coconut. Glad to done with this. It was good but not something I would want to keep for a long time. It was a good treat while I had it.
Flavors: Bitter, Nutty
Just got enough to make a few cups. This was surprising to me. I thought it was a slightly sweet tea with a strong nutty flavor. The flavor of the green tea is there but takes a smaller role in the background. I could taste the nuttiness of the tea without other flavors over powering it. I tried to make it as a latte but that dampens the nuttiness and the tropical flavor of this tea. It was a delightful treat. It takes a lot of tea product to create a flavorful cup of tea.
Flavors: Almond, Nuts, Walnut

This tea is pretty gross. Citrusy notes with some green tea and red rooibos (weird combo!) and then the juniper berries were oddly minty. The citrusy thing doesn’t go with the red rooibos or the juniper. The ginger + lemongrass combo is great but doesn’t go with the flavours previously mentioned. If you try to really focus on it the cup is drinkable.
Flavors: Astringent, Citrus, Ginger, Herbaceous, Herbs, Lemon, Lemongrass, Medicinal, Mint, Rooibos

For a tea with “detox” in its title, I expected something medicinal tasting but it’s not overly so. It’s nice, somewhat soothing and comforting. Very herbal overall but I can predominantly taste lemongrass, followed by juniper, followed by ginger. This tea leaves a rather pleasant impression and I can say that I’m happy to be pleasantly surprised.
1.5 tsp for 350mL water @100C, steeped four minutes fifteen seconds.
Dry leaf is very pretty, with colourful cake sprinkles against bright red rooibos. Wet leaf looks a bit sludgy with partly melted sprinkles. Liquor is cloudy dark red. No woody taste, just roobios and honeybush with a tiny bit of green rooibos, plus vanilla and maple-ish flavours. Better than I expected. A lovely sipping tisane. A longer steep might make it even better,.
Wow! This is a unique green tea. It’s very toasty, and you can really taste the rice. Yet, there’s still that grassy green tea flavour to it too. It’s a nice balance! Perfect. I would definitely drink this tea again.
Flavors: Grass, Rice, Toasty

Oh, boy. I got this in one of the new DT holiday sets before Gingerbread Blondie or Forever Frosty released, so that I could try those. I try to avoid teas with stevia, because I detest it. But, this came in the set, so I figured what the heck. Opened the little tin and I was just hit in the face with the scent of stevia. Just chocolate and stevia. Brewed it, tasted it. Yup, as expected. Stevia city. I actually like the chocolate notes in this, but the stevia overpowers every other flavor and makes it undrinkable for me.
Tastes very similar to Starbucks’ peach tea but honestly better (which I do not believe they sell for home consumption… in Quebec at least). Many people enjoy cold, but can vouch it tastes very nice as a warm tea as well. Would recommend for morning study sessions.
A very tart taste with the hibiscus, strawberry and hint of lemon. I like a sweeter strawberry flavor, like the one in Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait, but this one is nice when that one is a bit too creamy and sweet tasting. This is more refreshing and tart. I’m not the biggest fan of hibiscus and haven’t reached for this one much, however.
Received as a sample in my most recent David’s Tea order. This one is ok. It’s a little bland, but has a nice chai spice to it. I like the slight sweetness it has, I’m assuming from the candied bits in it. Very light pumpkin flavor as well. If you like pumpkin spice I would definitely try but you could skip if not!
Flavors: Caramel, Pumpkin, Spices, Sweet

Got this as part of a wellness tea sampler from David’s and it’s another so-so for me. I made it in my David’s tea press. I think it’s the lemongrass I don’t care for. I have trouble with that flavor in food, so it makes sense I wouldn’t like it in a tea either. I would not buy this again, although I will muscle my way through the rest of the bag.

I have been searching for a tea that has the flavor of cake because I LOVE cake! But, unfortunately I can no longer digest cake being lactose intolerant and gluten intolerant. So, this tea is a real treat for me. It does have a cake flavor but, mostly a frosting flavor, in my opinion, which is great. Like the icing on the cake lol. It’s kinda sweet on its own but I like to add honey and a splash of milk to really sweeten it up. I can definitely see this tea being a great replacement for actual cake. It works for me!
Flavors: Cake, Frosting, Rooibos, Sweet, Vanilla
