Bigelow

I chose this as my follow-up cup of tea to the Festivus Chai I had this morning. I drank it immediately afterward, and the spices in Eggnogg’n go nicely with the concentrate. Then again this tea always tastes good to me! It’s one of my faves on any given day.

So, I might or might not have gone back and bought more of this right after my last little post a couple of months ago. I am well-stocked for the moment, which is a lovely feeling. When I’m in the mood for this tea, I just drink it instead of feeling like I need to hoard it. I even brought some just to leave at work! Ahhhh.

Anyway, another delicious cup of this was had today, and well enjoyed. Hoorah!

YESSSSS, I found this at a local store for the first time ever! Bought 5 boxes (and considering going back for more since it was on sale, which I didn’t know when I was at the register). SO EXCITED. ahem Anyway, this tea is just as excellent as it was the last time I had it, so there’s not much else to add. Ignore me, I’ll just continue squeeing in the corner!

That’s it, I had the last bag today… I’m leaving for VT tomorrow so I have my fingers crossed that I’ll find it there! I’ll definitely buy 2 or 3 boxes of this next time I see it. Overall, I think it was my favourite tea of 2009, all things considered! Okay, maybe not absolute favourite but top 3 for sure.

This blend never disappoints! It’s perfect weather for this today. Hopefully I can stock up on this when I’m back in VT, since I never did find it here.

It’s colder today so I pulled this one out of my stash. Fall can’t get here soon enough!

This is definitely my favourite Bigelow tea, by far! I really love the blend of spices and it smells fantastic. I don’t think it tastes like eggnog, but the spices make it reminicent of it, for sure. I am down to my last 2 teabags in the box—I’ll defnitely miss this one. Hopefully I’ll find it again next holiday season! I had to buy it on vacation in VT… I never found it here in Colorado.

This blend usually gets passed over in favour of Vanilla Chai when I’m in the mood for a vanilla tea, but every time I have it I remember that I really like it. The smell can be a bit strange, I guess, but I like it. It’s a smooth caramel-y vanilla black tea that tastes great and goes well with a rainy, cool kind-of-almost-autumn morning.

I grew tired of all my vanilla tea blends and started avoiding them for a while, so now that I’m drinking them again I’m reminded of how good they can be! This one in particular is a blend I often pass over (not sure why), but it’s consistently good. I’ve never managed to oversteep it and make it bitter, and the caramel note balances out the vanilla so it’s not TOO vanilla. It was the perfect choice for today’s morning tea!

I forgot to bring tea from home today so this was the best choice out of the “left at work” pile I had to choose from. I wasn’t completely in the mood for it, but it turned out to make a nice cup for my afternoon. I always think this will be too sweet but there’s a deeper flavour (the caramel, and spices) that really keeps the vanilla in check. Very well-balanced!

I actually looked forward to drinking this today. Kind of a chai feel without the spices. Needed something warm & comforting since it’s 5 freaking degrees here today (that’s the HIGH)! This hit the spot.

I never actively crave this tea, but whenever I end up having it I remember how much better it is than I thought it would be. Nice vanilla flavour mellowed out by the caramel. It smells incredible too!

Over-steeped today and it has a slightly bitter/weird aftertaste, but still decent.
