The bag of tea smells wonderful! The flavours definitely calmed down after brewing, and it left a nice light fruity tea. I drank most of the cup without anything added, then added a bit of sugar near the end to experiment. I think I actually preferred it without the sugar – you can notice the flavours better that way. Very very delicious!
Preparation
This is another neat do-it-yourself Adagio blend from keenteathyme. (With my thanks.)
Backtracking to an old tasting note about Adagio’s cherry tea tasted solo confirmed that it has an artificial cherry-syrup personality. So when it gets blended with the cream and chocolate (which I do like Adagio’s version of), you get a Cherry Mash or drugstore Christmas cherry chocolate vibe—both of which I do like. A little milk and sugar blended nicely (I think I overdid on the dry leaf in a smaller pot and it was just on the edge of bitter. My mistake, not the tea’s).
Makes me wonder what this combination would be like with a different, less syrupy, cherry base.
Is 7:44 a.m. too early to break into a box of Russell Stover to accompany this?
i have a good maybe 25 teas logged that i never made notes for. and i’m gonna try to add notes for all of them but let’s be honest, they will probably all have very little to do with the tea and much more to do with The Avengers or dancing.
i just placed a davidstea order too. i used to place one every what felt like 5 weeks. this is probably my first one in half a year or something. much more reasonable. i got my boyfriend mates cuz they are his fave and i got 3 other teas i haven’t tried yet but have coconut in them. i also got some tea bags for brewing. cuz i like them even though they are dumb expensive. so if you have any teabag recommendations i’d love to hear them! i would like unbleached and natural blah blah, but whatevs. i’m open. :)
So I brewed 2.5 teaspoons of this in my PersonaliTea teapot for 4 minutes.
I tasted it straight but decided to add sugar and a splash of milk. The overall taste was sweet, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, all meshed together with the malty flavor of the irish breakfast mingling throughout.

The Best Chocolate Tea I’ve ever had. HANDS DOWN.
KeenTeaThyme- you can blend a mean tea my friend! (Thanks for the sample as well!)
Its perfect. All flavors really blend well together and there isn’t an overpowering or overwhelming chocolate flav to it. Just a nice hint.
Gonna need a bag of this one too!
This made a great choice for an afternoon treat this Valentines day. Paired it with a Raspberry Cheesecake cookie and it was sinful. I get almost a tingle on my tongue from sipping this tea. I’m not sure what makes that come across. I really like how the cherry and cream blend together, and the chocolate makes it even more delectable. Great blend! I will have to pick some of this up next adagio order!

No rating as this is my own. I think I’ll create this one for my shop as well, because that Adagio black tea flavor is so annoying. I love the medley of cream, chocolate and cherry – although now I crave black forest cake! Or any cake! Diets suck.
No rating as this is my own custom blend. I really do enjoy the bold flavors in this cuppa, although I can’t really taste anything thanks to this rotten cold/flu thing. (My voice sounds very throaty. Not so great at work, but my singing voice has improved.)
No rating as this is one of mine. I needed a little caffeine and sweet treat fix, and this fit the bill. My only complaint is I can only have a limited amount of caffeine a day! How to cope?!
Wow, you chose a FANTASTIC photo and name for your custom tea blend! If it tastes half as good as it looks, I’m sure it’s a real winner!
No rating as this is my own blend from Adagio.
I really do enjoy this cup of cherries, chocolate and cream – with no fat! I do add sweetener as I find some of Adagio’s teas are too astringent. If anyone wants a sample, PM me. :) I like to keep my stock rotating so I can buy more!
I can send you some. PM or email me – keenteathyme@gmail.com :)
No rating as this is one of my own blends.
I just love the mix of chocolate, vanilla (cream) and cherry. Often I can’t have chocolate – I’m allergic to an enzyme that is in milk chocolate and many dairy products (including ice cream). So drinking my chocolate is truly bliss.
The folks at Adagio do a great job blending. I run through this one often, and it tastes the same each batch – the perfect harmony of cherry, chocolate and cream.
Just don’t seep longer than four minutes, unless you enjoy bitter-ish tea…
Preparation
As today is my 6-year wedding anniversary, I decided to start the day with cake – liquidified, calorie-free cake, that is.
No rating as this is one of my own blends from Adagio.
I love how you can taste the chocolate, the cherry and the cream all at once, and yet individually in each sip (or gulp, in my case). The folks at Adagio really blended this one up nice for me.

Best wishes on your anniversary! May there be many happy years! Hubby and I are coming up on the 26th anniversary of the day we met. We married just 7 months after, but it took! :)
Thank you! My husband and I are college sweethearts, been together for over 10 years. We had a four-year long engagement, because we were saving up for a destination wedding. (I’m not big on frou-frou things.)
Congrats belong to you as well – 26 years! YAY! :) Here’s to 26 more… :)
I hate when I can’t find a document I just saved to my computer…
Finishing up the last of this. No rating as it’s my blend.
See previous notes – I love this one! Bold, flavorful. Chocolate-y. Hits the spot!
Yes, I realize it’s been less than 20 mins since I logged a tea. No, sadly, I am not backlogging. My tea consumption is why I am known as the Tea Lady at work.
This tea says, “Valentine’s Day,” as well: creamy chocolate and cherry. Yum!
Drinking this one again. I needed some extra caffeine to get through the afternoon. I love how the medley of flavors shines through – all three taste great together and yet I can still ID each: cherry, chocolate and cream. :)
sort of a random question for you, but how do you create a label for the adage signature blends? I keep trying to upload a .jpg and it never works.
Oh, I find a free image online and then edit it using the Paint program. Nothing high-tech. Then I save it as jpg and uploads OK. Try that and if you still have trouble uploading I could attempt to do an image for you – just tell me what you’d want on it. :)
