I have a lot of this tea, so I decided to make cold brew a large pitcher of it. ugh….I am such a freaking noob. This cold brew is not good…I should of known because what I said on my last post, if not done right it would either have a weird spinachy flavor or no flavor at all. I took out my brand new Takeyda Pitcher filled it with about 4 scoops of the tea. ( I used David’s tea perfect spoon.) Put in about 36 oz of filtered water, popped in the fridge.
4 hours – no flavor
7 hours – no flavor
I forgot I had it in the fridge 12 hours-bitter.
I wasted 4 scoops on cold brewing this to turn out bitter. Sad Story.
