88 Tasting Notes

This tea started out spicy, and had undertones of wood and moss. This sheng was lovely, and was very good quality (especially for the price tag). Along with this teas quality, it was full bodied and complex. It was full of tasting notes that kept evolving through out the session with it. Overall, I think this tea was great for what it was and I would recommend it, especially if you’re a fan of this region.

The new Secret Garden is a fantastic tea thats complex and has a large array of tasting notes. I personally think it’s a step-up from last years Secret Garden because it’s more complex, full bodied, and all around heavenly. At first, the tea opened up to a broth that was sweet, fruity, and full bodied. The tea’s tasting notes kept progressing as it continuously transformed through out the entire session.

I have the lose leaf form of this tea, and it turned out great! It has a broth-like body that’s full of nature like tasting notes. Very enjoyable.

Slumbering Dragon was powerful, as much as it was bitter. I got amazing body feels from this tea, and even past the bitterness, there was still some pleasant attributes to this tea. It had a velvety-like texture that almost reminded me of white tea and black tea, and had a good underlying flavor profile.

This oolong tasted very refreshing, and is one that I would drink again. I was surprised at how full-bodied it was, and even had amazing energy to it. This is one I would definitely try again.

Wow,

I got incredibly tea drunk off of this (and compared it to OxyContin). It had a deep flavor profile that reminded me of a fresh forest, and had a sweet and herb like body.

Wild Tree Purple “Sweet Ya Bao” is definitely a purple varietal tea that doesn’t taste like any tea I’ve had before. The tasting notes of dill weed came as a complete surprise, along with the finishing notes of rose buds. This was something that took getting used to, but after a few sessions with Ya Bao, I can definitely say that it’s growing on me.

Fair warning though, this tea is different and doesn’t taste like a traditional white tea — which will throw people off. Overall through, it’s good for what it is.

Sister and Brother is a fantastic experience. The bricks are mensong material, one roasted during the ‘kill green’ process than the other. In my opinion, I thought they were both great. I couldn’t chose a favorite between Brother or Sister, because they both stood so strong on their own.

Overall, they were fruity, floral, and sweet. I recommend this experience to anyone because of how fun it was. However, I would rate this a 100, but I felt like the iron pressing of these bricks kind of lessened the experience. However, both bricks were complex in flavor and gave off an amazing body feel.
