2810 Tasting Notes
So this is the newest tea for my work desk, for the standard reason- its not getting touched at home, so its time to put it on my desk and encourage me to sip it down.
Its not as sweet as a fruit blend usually is, its rather sour, or at least the cup I had yesterday was.
Hmm.
Work tea is a glorious thing.
I’m almost done with my pretty little tin of this. It will only be a few more days, and then I’ll have another sipdown under my belt.
I’m enjoying this, its light and refreshing. The sort of tea thats great on my desk.
I will say that I don’t know that I’ll buy another tin of this, when I’ve finished it. Its good, but I’m not sure permanent cupboard good.
I sipped this down yesterday.
Its easy enough to drink, if not particularly special.
I think this is probably the first of my “summery” blends I’ve drunk down, just in time for the hundred degree weather.
So yesterday was the first really hot day, and the power went out last evening, and did not come back on before I went to bed, though it did surge into life in the morning.
Ugh. Who knows whats still good in my fridge, and who knows how long it will take to reset all the flipping clocks.
So I am tired this morning, and its going to be a long and warm day, and I brewed this a bit too long today.
Blah.
My spoon scraped the bottom of the tin this morning. Gasp!
Well, I’m not going to buy more tea until autumn, I’ve told myself. We’ll see how that goes, of course, but its the plan.
Thats alright. I’ve got tons of tea to be drunk, so this is hardly the only pot of fruity black tea I have.
That said, its a really nice way to start the day.
