You know…I thought this was gonna be so much better than it actually was. Thought it was gonna be wayyy sweeter, like their Red Velvet Delight blend. But it doesn’t have tons of flavor. Weird.
The same with the smell. It wasn’t strong enough for me. Definitely not gonna buy more, but I’m glad I tried it!
Maybe one day They’ll make a sweeter batch of this…that would be awesome!
But I’m not one to add sweetener to my tea, so perhaps if I did that it would be better.
Wasn’t a terrible tea, but nothing to really write home about. xD
I was a bit skeptical of this tea when I first smelled it…mainly because I forgot what it was supposed to be. xD Finally when I decided to brew up a cup I realized it smelled exactly like dark chocolate. Why I didn’t think about that before? I have no idea. xD I’m kinda slow haha
It does taste pretty chocolatey-but I feel like it should be stronger.
I thought it was gonna be more of a hazelnut flavor, but I guess not. I don’t know..I have mixed feelings about this. I’ll definitely give it a few more shots…and then probably end up really liking it and buying more xD
I have long been on a quest to find a Monkey Picked oolong as good as the one at Teavana that I am in love with. This one is definitely the closest I’ve found so far. Anddd it’s cheaper than Teavana too-which is always a plus :P I like enough teas from Teavana already, I don’t need to waste all my money there XD
But yeah, definitely a good tea! :D
I think that Teavana is better for flavored teas than straight ones xD But you should totally try this tea if you ever order from Teavivre! So good!
After a nightmare morning I decided to drink some tea in hopes it would relax me. But this tea just made me feel more sad. It tastes exactly like hot chocolate. It’s ridiculously chocolatey to me. It’s a nice tea but I just keep wanting to put marshmallows in it since it’s like hot chocolate to me. But…I don’t think that would taste too good…Maybe I’ll try it one day xD Either way this is a pretty good tea! The equivalent of hot chocolate to me :P
Oh my goodness…this tea…it tastes like that Assam tea I had the other day. Ahhhh Virginia you’re gonna make me spend so much money on these websites! XD
I feel like all I’ve seen is them doing 20% off sales…do they ever do anything more than that?
Either way I’ll probably have a wait a couple months…because half the teas I like from there now are expensive xD So might be a big order xD
I don’t generally like cinnamon teas. Usually they are wayy overpowering and too much for me. But this one has just the right amount of cinnamon for me. It’s such a soft and delicate flavor. I never thought I’d like something like this, but man…David’s Tea…proving me wrong time and time again xD Now I wanna get back to work so I can finally put in a big David’s Tea order-thanks, Virginia for all these awesome samples!
I’m gonna end up spending so much money there. XD
Man…I got expensive tastes apparently. I love way too many oolongs, I just want all the oolongs in the world xD Least that’s what it feels like. But they’re so expensive it seems. >< Oy. But this is SUCH a good tea. Ahh, it’s perfect. This is a good day for teas.
Thanks, Virginia for this sample! I’m gonna have to find more somewhere!
Got my order from H&S today! There’s just something about vanilla that’s soothing to me…I can’t quite place it. This one definitely hits the mark though! ^^
Flavors: Cream, Vanilla
Oh yea! It tastes great and I love it even more because since I drink the decaf version I can have it all afternoon and evening!
Definitely one of my new favorites. Didn’t know what to think when I first tasted this. I haven’t tasted a non-flavored black tea before. I didn’t have much time to think of how it tasted because a really intense wave of nausea/pain came upon me. But I’ll definitely have to buy more of this since it’s so good! And then I can write a proper tasting note (: Thanks, Virginia , for the sample. Turns out you threw a few Tealux teas in :P But hey, I ain’t complaining-you’re broadening my tea horizons xD
Try it cold, or with one of the citrus cream rooibos blends.
Is it stronger cold? I’ll definitely try it!
You definitely need to give it a try with sugar. :)
I’m terrible at trying to figure how much sugar to put in…how much did you use?
Start with 1 tsp., then add a little more as needed.
I did a teaspoon for 8 ounces and it was good. It definitely brought out a lot of sweetness in the tea.
Good to know…thanks you guys! (:
