332 Tasting Notes
Opened this up yesterday and followed a recipe from this company’s social media page.
The Matcha Basil Lemonade recipe was actually pretty easy to make and turned out great. The whole family loved it. It uses fresh lemon juice and honey to create the lemonade aspect of the drink. If anyone want’s the recipe I’d be happy to share it.
Preparation
Drinking this again today it’s honestly just SO Good and I really need to add this to my To buy list. I’d love to get a bag of this. I definitely am excited to try some more teas from this company in the future. So hopefully the bar isn’t set too high based on how much I enjoyed this one as my first.
Does it actually taste like a lilac, though? I have thinking of trying Simpson & Vail for a while and if they actually have tea that tastes and smells like lilac – I am sold!
I’m really behind on tasting notes and am trying to catch up. To use this tea up I’ve been recently mixing it with DavidsTea’s Kashmiri Chai. At first I expected that it wouldn’t pair well since this has a black tea base and the Kashmiri is a green tea base. With some honey and milk though it actually works really well. This tea by itself was pretty hard to drink. I also don’t care for the Kashmiri Chai by itself either it was ordered by a family member.
