268 Tasting Notes
Between trying to drink this up (as it is my oldest tea) and it being hot in Missouri, I made this last night for today. I took 6 tablespoons of this and 3 of Blueberry Bliss. I wanted the Sakura Allure flavor with a hint of blueberry. It was steeped for 3 minutes and left on the counter to cool. When it was finally cool enough I put it in the fridge overnight. Sadly the Sakura Allure is the only taste I am getting from this. There is almost a bitterness to it. I really wish I would get a hang of this iced-tea-making-thing soon! I will probably finish the cup but I won’t drink the second cup from my pitcher.
Thank you Marzipan! I’m so excited, I couldn’t pick up packages until today. Starting my dive into this box now :)
This smells amazing. I ended up adding sweetener, it really brought out the flavor of this. There is something in addition to the blueberry flavor that I am getting. I don’t know what it is but it makes for a yummy tea! I even think it’s curing my craving for something sweet, perfect!
Preparation
I’m not really getting any particular flavor from this one. I likely don’t have a good palate to discern different tastes. I used more leaf than was recommended because I wanted to be sure of the taste. It’s different, I guess it’s a fruit flavor. It is drinkable. I am going to hold of rating this one for now. I think it deserves another chance, maybe some sweetener next time would make it more flavorful?
Preparation
I would really like this to be a sipdown. This is my oldest tea but there is probably still enough for a dozen cups, if I don’t re-steep! I do still like this even though it’s practically like I am drinking juice. My cleaning has already gotten sidetracked by research on how I could store my tea. Save for three of my teas, they are all in the zip-top bags they came in, not pretty. lol.
Preparation
Sipdown :)
Day off today, this means more cleaning including organizing and drinking up some of my tea! I still think this is just a decent green tea. When I purchased it, I was really looking forward to the pineapple of it. If I am looking for a green the next time I’m at market I will probably try a different blend of theirs instead of grabbing this one again.
