This tea has grown on me since the last time I had it. I like it. While I still think it is not the absolute best oolong, it is very good. It is slightly sweet and slightly vegetal in nature. It has that characteristic oolong flavor but no charcoal bitterness associated with some oolongs. I suspect it is unroasted but do not know. It has no roasted barley flavor at all actually. I picked this one this afternoon because I thought the Gaba might relax me. My issue of Global Tea Hut came today and their monthly selection of tea was Gaba tea so I thought of this. I want to save the Global Tea Hut Gaba for when I can give it my full attention, not just one steep. This tea definitely tastes better to me this time than last time around, don’t know why. The Gaba is already having a slightly relaxing effect on me, this is good.

I brewed this once in an 16 oz teapot with 2.5 tsp leaf and 190 degree water for 3 mini.

Flavors: Vegetal

Preparation
190 °F / 87 °C 3 min, 0 sec 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

I am Allan. I live and work in Long Island, New York. I have been amassing a tea collection for nearly two years and have spent way too much money. I now try to buy mostly Puerh as I like it most and it lasts nearly forever. Black tea has a habit of going bad. If anyone is interested in tea swaps I am open to ideas and have quite a cupboard.
