Ok, so I knew it was going to be intense, but wow… I got a whole tin because I really want to give this one a good chance to grow on me. A lot of people are saying it takes them some time before they can appreciate it. For now, the flavour profile includes my grandparents’ wood stove. I’m sure I’ll get back with more later..

Backlogged from late last night … what’s nice about tea is I find it can help you stay awake but it doesn’t keep you up if you don’t want to be – for me, anyway. Does that make sense?

My mom had gotten the Twinings assortment as a gift so when I went over earlier this evening, I was excited to finally try this flavour that I’d read so much about (thanks, Mom!).

I can definitely see the similarities to Earl Grey but this has kind of a lighter citrus flavour

Let me reiterate a certain mathematical proof as stated in a previous discussion with Michelle Butler Hallet, that Darjeeling = bliss.

Darjeeling = TEA ,

Therefore
Darjeeling = bliss.

Just a quick steep as i was sharing this with a friend at work – who happens to be Jewish and from Montreal and whose brother knows David Segal (the David of DAVIDsTEA), but anyway… the bergamot flavour came out quite strong this time vs tea flavour.

Still not too familiar with whites but from what i can tell this is a nice combo of flavours. I have it when I want something light and fruity, it really has a wonderful berry aroma and flavour.

Trying to find other words to describe this.. tamarind?! Still get smoky, plum and roses.
