The hardest part of making this tea is waiting 7 minutes for it to brew. The smell is so delicious…ripe strawberries fresh off the vine.
note to self, must order more of this tea this week

I always seem to be drawn back to this tea almost on a daily basis.
Why? you ask.
1. It is a simple tea, good for two great infusions.
2. I don’t have to add anything to enjoy the taste of the tea.
3. I really like the crispness of the blood orange peels.
4. It tastes good hot or cold, so it is good to carry with me to school:)
5. It is the prettiest tea in my cupboard and the smell in the tin is addicting.

Made this tea the way Marcus describes this morning. Raw sugar and milk added before I add the tea to my cup. It is a complex cup, but I am not getting chocolate notes. I fear my brewing method is still lackig something:(

Added rock crystals in the brew basket. Drinking this plain today. It really reminds me of the Blood Orange Black tea without the orange…kinda wishing I had the orange notes in this cuppa:(

Nice choice tonight as it is getting late. Tea really does taste sweeter from a bone teacup

This is a good ginger, apricot blend. It is better than others I had tried? No. But it is housed in the cutest tin in my cupboard. And that fact alone makes me smile when I drink this tea:)

STAY CALM AND DRINK TEA

Steam rises from a cup of tea

and we are wrapped in history,

inhaling ancient times and lands,

comfort of ages in our hands.
