640 Tasting Notes
Huh, think I *under*leafed this time – that could have been stronger.
Yet another tea I’ve had for years, but had to add before I could log it. I’ve had it so long I almost forgot what was the original reason why I made that order from GEPA – Eukalyptus honey, which improves the taste of many herbal teas, and for which they seemed to be the only source back then.

There are many other sources for it now, and I’m pretty sure I’ve seen at least one company offer it in a 250g glass(might not have been fairtrade, but was still organic. I think there is a shop that sells a non-organic version in glasses as small as 25g), so depending on how much other use(s) you have for (other) honey, GEPA might not be the best source now(They have it either in a 375g glass, or as one of three 125g sample glasses sold together, the other two being Orange blossom honey and Acahual honey. I’ve found that Orange blossom honey(which is much easier to find than Eukalyptus honey) works well in Ceylon tea, hot or cold, or in Earl Grey. The Acahual is supposed to have vanilla notes, which I’ve never found, but it does work fine for whatever you’d do with an ordinary meadow/flower honey. So if you would only use honey in herbal teas and don’t drink a ton of them, the 250g glass(or 25 or 100g if you don’t care about organic) might be better.)

Early on the day before yesterday, I went through my tea samples, and found that I still had a way overdue sample of this(which didn’t make any sense, since I also still have a nearly full 50g bag of this). So, that sample became my breakfast tea for that day.
