316 Tasting Notes
I’m glad this made a comeback so I could try it. It’s quite good now that I didn’t oversteep it. When I got my first sample of this I had oversteeped it but this time I let it steep for about 4 mins, and it’s just right. I tried this because I like coffee cake, but not coffee- and obviously this has no coffee, so I’m liking this. The fruit blends nicely to make a taste worthy of the name, I think. It’s sweet, like a dessert tea should be.
Some people say this tastes like Red Velvet or Birthday Cake but I disagree completely – I dislike both of those teas, and this tea tastes really good. So, guess peoples tastes are very different.

I definitely like how mild this is. (I’m not a big chai fan – just trying out some of them) Anyway, this is a nice chai, I can taste some of that lemon zest and lemongrass but also the spices – which are not too spicy. The cinnamon is also nice. I really like this tea.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Lemon Zest, Lemongrass, Spices
Preparation
This tea is a lovely, creamy, mango tea. I’m tasting the vanilla with the mango, but it’s a tea I don’t mind the vanilla taste in. I like how creamy this is, it’s quite comforting. I did add some sugar, but I think it would be good with some honey too. Though I don’t know what actual mango lassi tastes like, this is pretty good. I’m glad I got to try it.
Flavors: Creamy, Mango, Vanilla
Preparation
I basically fell in love with this tea, it’s very comforting. Blueberry and cinnamon are the dominant flavours, and they go well together. The longer steeped, the more cinnamon came out. It’s very yummy. I can also taste the hibiscus somewhat, but it’s not overwhelming. Good tea. Definitely a fall fave.
Flavors: Blueberry, Cinnamon, Hibiscus

Well, I don’t hate this tea – I just don’t like the dry smell of it… The cinnamon smells good, but there’s this weird, off putting smell to it I can’t really place. I want to say it’s like a stinky smell, but not actually. I don’t know… I think it must be the cooked pu-erh… The brewed tea itself tastes pretty good, though. I usually have this as a latte, but tonight I’m having just a hot cup with a little sugar. I like cinnamon as long as it’s not too overpowering, like this tea, the cinnamon blends well with the orange peel and it’s not too strong for my liking.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Earth, Orange Zest
Preparation
This is an interesting tea. I only bought 50g when I knew it was going away. (retiring) So I made this tonight as a latte, and it’s really yummy. Nice and chocolatey, with a cinnamon and sort of spicy kick to it. So basically it tastes just how I imagine a mexican hot chocolate to taste. I don’t think all my chocolate chips melted either, even though I left it for 5 minutes, but that’s okay- its chocolatey still.
Flavors: Chocolate, Cinnamon, Spicy
Preparation
Sipdown! I literally only have enough for one more cup after this one. I added some sugar to this for flavour, and it’s quite good actually. I can taste the green tea, and then the pomegranate. Maybe the rosehips as well. Overall I’m enjoying what I have left of this.
Flavors: Floral, Rosehips
Preparation
I cold steeped this for over 24 hours I think and it’s nice and fruity. Full of mango flavoured goodness. It does taste like fruit punch and I think it’s good both cold steeped and iced. Great mango, pineapple flavour here.
Flavors: Fruit Punch, Fruity, Mango, Pineapple

I was SO excited to try this new winter tea, and today my order finally came in! Having a hot cup right now. When I smelled it it smelled really good – and it almost smells like the ‘Chocolate Cake’ tea also from Davids. Except with almonds of course. When I tasted, it tastes pretty close to Chocolate Cake as well. Not a problem for me. It’s creamy and light, with an almondy background. I can see why it’s called Chocolate Covered Almond. Overall it’s a pretty good tea.
