355 Tasting Notes
Such a delicious flavored black tea. As I said in my last tasting note for this, I like whatever SpecialTeas uses as a black base better than whatever Adagio uses (Ceylon, I think?). This tastes and smells like freeze-dried strawberries, with a sweet hint of cream. My sample’s all gone, so I might order more.
Okay, I want some! This might of been what I saw in stores. A blend of strawberries and cream. So tempting… must hold back on the spending.
Ugh, I know. I’ve been plotting big orders from 2 or 3 e-tailers; it’s so tough to choose which I will actually follow through on! Hopefully there’s some Christmas money in my future..
Haha, me too! All the discounts, it’s so tempting. I took a look at my credit card bill, uhoh. All gifts and tea this month. Rishi’s 25% off? Topical Co’s free teapot and 15% off? Harney & Sons free shipping? Lupicia’s spent $30 and get free samplers every month? Andrews & Dunham’s Series 2? The choices! Don’t tempt me further Steepster.
Still a fan. Great for a chilly Saturday morning with the snow coming down. I’ve been using 4 pearls in my 32 oz. Bodum Assam teapot, and it’s pretty dark, but I might try five or six next time.
Still yummy.
bethanylang@gmail.com. I have to go to the post office to mail a swap to Angrboda tomorrow, so if you have time, check out my cupboard today or tomorrow and I’ll do the same for you. Then I can send tomorrow and save myself another trip!
I like this one a lot. I had it a restaurant a few months ago and have been wanting to get some of my own ever since. This is a slightly grassy, mostly sweet oolong with a bright orchid taste and a hint of coconut. It smells more like coconut than it tastes, which is fine by me. I love the taste of orchid and violet in teas, and I love coconut, so this is tasty.
