I drink most of my tea on an empty stomach. Infact, I don’t eat a lot of food because all the tea I drink fills me up.
I get sick if I drink tea on an empty stomach as well, so don’t feel bad, Ricky! I also tend to get sick on the holidays, too.
Cardamom look like pods. When I see them in tea they’re usually green, but they can be brown, too. Can be very strong, both as a scent and a flavor. I think of…like, a zingy citrus. It might be part of that ginger flavor you’re picking up. They’re often used in Masala chai. Anyhow, I saw this in Barnes & Noble the other day, but I didn’t pick it up because there was a family standing in the way and I wanted to get in line. Just how huge are the chamomile flowers? Are they, say, OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAAAAAAAAA [sorry, I blame Sophistre for getting the meme stuck in my head].
I’m going to have to invest in some tea cookies so I drink tea without getting sick.
Looking through my wet leaves and I can’t seem to find it (cardamom). Wait, wait! It must be the things that look like silver needles, but opened. The largest chamomile I have is the size of a nickel. The smallest is like a penny. They aren’t tiny like the silly yellow ones.
Holy chamomile, Batman! Those sound huge!

My stomachs a tad weak, either that or I have a tendency to get sick during the holidays.
