This tastes more like a straight Pu er with just a hint of chocolate to it, definitely not getting any meringue notes and it is not “very chocolately” as stated on the label. It is not a bad Pu er, but not a great one, I think I will use the remainder as a base and add things to it…always fun to concoct.

Creamy eggnog tea, wonderful with a touch of brown sugar in it. A nice treat to have on a cold Canadian winter evening.

I am on the second steep of this flowery tea and it smells like roses. It is light and flowery and the flavour does linger. A very pretty tea and fun to drink.

I received this as a sample with my Butiki order and I am so glad I did and I now need more! It is a great tea…chocolate, almond, earthiness, a great breakfast tea. I brewed it as recommended and drank it straight and it was a delight…YUM!

I really like this tea, it is full of peach taste and almonds and I love oolong tea, so this is a great tea for me.

Honey, mushroom, woody and astringent. I compared this to Butiki’s Giddapahar Darjeeling Extra Special and I found I liked DavidsTea better…gasp! Only by a small amount, I found the DavidsTea had a more velvet taste to it and the sweetness shines through just a hint more than Butiki’s. This was a cup to cup test and the teas were brewed as instructed by the Makers.

Hay, jasmine, woody and a touch of almond and maybe some peach and it is astringent. Gets better half way through the cup, seems milder and more of the almond notes come out as the temperature cools.

Now that my tea tasting has been expanded thanks to Steepster and multiple new teas I have tried… Buddha’s Blend now tastes bitter…it still has that sweet Swedish berry taste, but a aftertaste of bitterness…I am getting better at this tea tasting business…

Raisin and caramel notes and the smell of honey. Creamy and lingering sweet taste. I am really getting the raisin notes with this brew.
