First tealog entry in a couple years, now with a shiny new college degree!

I’ve gotta be honest, this reminded me of a Chinese Wuyi oolong. A smooth nutty taste with a mild kick. I would drink this again for sure, but it is not at all what I expected from a Darjeeling.

I used a short steep time. Makes a strong cup, but not bitter. Very balanced and has a grape kind of flavor. I would buy this again.

Tasted pretty bland to me. Flavor was more nutty than I’m used to from Darjeeling. Sweetness in the aftertaste. Underwhelming, but it didn’t taste bad. Try it if you like light Darjeelings.

Strong figgy taste. Black for lunch, tsp of sugar in the evening. I liked it enough to recommend it, but there’s better Assams out there to drop cash on.

Mmm, a smoky woody assam. Reminds me of a smoother version of a Chinese Lichee peel flavored tea I have. Nothing amazingly superior, but a unique flavor. Relaxing to drink slowly.

Much stronger cup of assam than my last, full of malty yumminess. Helping me get through one of my last finals I’m studying for. Good for a pick me up.

This is a pretty weak assam. Smooth, but not very much kick to it. A person who is better at enjoying subtleties might do better with it, but I don’t much care for it. The flavor that is there is pleasant though. Maybe good for some R&R.

Very smooth oolong, almost tastes like a mild black tea. Some buttery taste. Tastes great, I might have to buy some loose leaf from the store.

I honestly kind of tasted licorice in my cup of this. Sure it was malty, but I didn’t really like the taste of it. Kinda tasted low in quality to me.
