five days past Beltane ~ steep a bag of bergamot ~ so to dance again

Still one of my favorite teas of all time. I’m just about through my third sample size of this.. I should probably just suck it up and order a 4 oz.

I was in the mood for this today. I steep it for 4 minutes and find that it gives me a nice flavor that is neither too strong or bitter. Smells good and has a lovely color. Have about one cup left of the sample so I suppose I need to order a full size seeing as this is one of the only straight (non-flavored) black teas I enjoy.

Last of my lot. Starting to really lose a lot. A good example of how green teas really fade within a year.

Only two cups of tie guan yin last night — this is the last of it until my next shipment from Seven Cups arrives. Hope it’s today.

We took this one to school yesterday and turned it into iced tea for lunch. This stuff is even better cold. Yumm.

Was looking for something to drink and there was this sample from Adagio. I opened the container and the aroma wafting up woke up my senses! The hint of chocolate is what first got me. Then after brewing for 5 minutes, the taste was wonderful: rich, creamy and the hint of chocolate. Not for early morning but mid morning or (I can hardly wait) mid afternoon this is too good!!

I’ve been saving these for a while, having heard good things. I’m having a cup now and it’s amazing!

My fourth offering of this tea in two years… this years batch is simply stunning! Light buttery citrus hints in the first steep, followed by subsequent bold grassy notes. Complex and delicious!

Dark, rich and earthy. A not so delicate, but quite typical Pu erh.

I received this as a gift – my first oolong and it’s a wonderful, full-flavored tea.

More subtle than the Adagio brand…light.
