Very good breakfast tea, but I’ll need to try it again to be able to pick up on all the different flavours. The last few weeks I drank a lot of chinese black teas with strong chocolate notes, I feel like this one is lighter because of the darjeeling and congou keemun.

This tea has an intoxicating and relaxing smell. The balance of the flowery flavour is perfect. It’s a little sweet and very tasty. I really love it.

Mmm delicious pineapple tea. Very true to flavour and the oolong still can be tasted.

I have drank eggnog only a few times in my life. It’s not really part of the christmas traditions where I live but I remember liking it. This tea has the creamy mouthfeel and aftertaste I was expecting. It’s kind of sweet too. I like it a lot and it makes me want to try real eggnog again!

This is definitely creamy and cantaloupy :) The aftertaste really feels like I just ate a piece of cantaloupe. It was very good, but what I like the most about this fruit is it’s sweetness so maybe next time I’ll add a little bit of honey to it and see if it tastes even better.

I received my Black Friday order from Butiki today, I’m so excited!! I ordered 16 teas so I didn’t know which one to taste first. I closed my eyes and picked this one randomly, what a great start!

The dry leaves smell like Werther’s hard candies, yum! The assam tea base is delicious. It’s malty and doesn’t have any bitterness. It’s wayyy better than the only other assam I’ve tried (Assam Banaspaty from Davidstea). The caramel taste is subtle and complements the black tea very well. I was expecting the flavouring to be more noticeable because of the very strong smell, but I realize it’s not really what Butiki is about.

I am used to artificially flavoured teas that don’t even taste like tea anymore. I was so tired of it that I decided a few months ago to stop buying flavoured teas. I made an exception for Butiki teas because I had heard they were amazing. Even if this is only my first cup of tea from them, I am already very impressed. This seems to be a completely different world of flavoured teas.

I was able to resteep this with still a lot of flavour left :)

I like this one a lot. It’s similar to the Qing Pin tea from the same company. It’s very flavourful and not bitter at all. It has a cocoa smell but it doesn’t really taste like it. I prefer the Qing Pin over the Jin Pin just because I find the chocolate taste is stronger.

I absolutely love this tea. I haven’t tried brewing it gong fu style yet, I used an infuser mug. It has very strong chocolate notes, even more than laoshan black from Verdant in my opinion.

This tea tastes kind of sweet and light. I doesn’t brew very dark compared to other pu’erhs. It’s not fishy, I rinsed it for about 30 seconds before steeping it.

I feel kind of bad saying this but I am disapppointed with this one. I had it several times and I find it bitter even though I followed Den’s teas brewing instructions. The second infusion has a lot of flavour left and more sweetness to it, but still has a bitter aftertaste. Weirdly, I find that this tea isn’t as sweet as I am used to with other senchas. It is one of their most expensive senchas and they say on their website that it’s supposed to have a natural sweetness, but sadly I can’t taste it. I prefer their Sencha Fuka-midori over this.
