Hello! I am Niraj Lama from Darjeeling hills but now transplanted in upstate NY. Because of my origins, I cannot live without tea, and good tea at that. (How Darjeeling spoils you!)

To share my passion for tea in general and Darjeeling in particular I run an online store www.happyearthtea.com Besides Darjeeling we do offer other kinds of tea including herbals.

I feel quite strongly about climate change and need to adopt sustainable practices, especially having witnessed several man-made natural disasters in the Himalayas. Therefore we are quite religious about offering only Organic teas. For us it means that not only are they healthy but also a product of more sustainable agricultural practice.

Alas because of that you will not find many “famous” teas, but conventionally produced, with us.

By the way, Happy Earth Tea happens to be the current incarnation of Darjeeling Tea Exclusive. DTE some of you might remember was based in Darjeeling and ran for over 5 years bringing some of the best Darjeelings around the world.
