I can not believe how much I am enjoying fruit based rooibos! I was so sure this was not going to be my thing, but it totally is. Like a fool, I spent half the day smelling this bag of tea before I caved and brewed myself a cup this evening. I spent hours admiring the smell of the leaves, and wondering why it was so familiar. Ditz that I can be, it took me until I was halfway through the cup to realize it smells like Strawberry Rhubarb Parfait (DT), yeah, that would probably be because of the strawberries…. My own ditziness aside, once I placed the smell and stopped trying to associate the two teas with each other (they really are apples and oranges in terms of comparisons) this is a really nice tea. Naturally sweet, very fruity and an easy tea to drink. The rooibos stayed nice and light so the fruit flavours really shone through. This is a tea I can see myself drinking when I am looking for something easy and appealing to throw in my cup! If you like strawberries and don’t mind rooibos, this tea might be worth a sip!
