26 Tasting Notes
Just received this today, so it is available. This is a pleasant pu-erh tea. Nothing too special, but very drinkable. Had a slightly different aroma to other pu-erh teas which have the damp wood in a basement smell. This had perhaps damp jeans or something in there too. Can’t put my finger on it, but I love using Mini Tuos for travel and will be taking these with me for when I want a pu-erh fix. I am not a big fan of pu-erh so I am steeping it quite fast. If you like to get a full bodied “liquor” see other reviews.

Exactly what I was expecting. A subtle oolong, so subtle the vanilla overpowers any of it’s flavours. Plus a nice vanilla taste. It will make nice alternative to their Creme Black tea which follows a similar formula with the flavor overtaking the tea. I buy straight oolong and other teas from China, so that is why I like this without any character from the tea leaves.

Delicious. I may be biased as I just threw out a tea I tasted which was bad, so it made me really appreciate this. It is quite light, creamy as you would expect and very pleasant to drink. Definitely will be in my next order if it comes back. I recommend a quick steep to avoid the astringency which has put some people off.

I thought I smelled peach at first, so was a little surprised with the smooth savoury flavour. It is a very pleasant tea. Kind of reminds me of comfort food- satisfying, tasty and very drinkable, without having an X factor. There is a slight after taste which I am unsure about.
I have never tried this tea hot. I always have it cold when I don’t have time to make my own tisane. A tablespoon with about 2 liters of water is wonderfully refreshing and delicious. I think this is the best one out of 3 similar teas blends I tried. I continue filling up the pitcher with water and it gets weaker, but the longer it has to infuse the better, so it is best to start overnight.

First time I tried this it was little disappointing as cinnamon was the overwhelming taste. I am not sure if it aged or something, but when I next tried it a bout 3 months later it tasted more rounded, more like maple syrup. This is a tasty tea and if you notice what I did, leave it for a few months to see if that helps.
