Maybe my taste buds are off today, but for some reason, this one doesn’t taste nearly as creamy and delicious as I remembered. Still yummy, but not nearly as dessert like as previous cups. Not sure why that is. I don’t mind it tasting like oolong, since I really like oolong, but last time it tasted like I melted a bunch of caramels in my cup.

I don’t know why I thought this was going to be a kind of fruity sour tea, probably because it steeps up red, but it is far from that! It is such a lovely almond flavor, almost like almond biscotti or a croissant! I used 3 tsp in my 16oz steeping mug and added sweetener. My husband brought back about 25 grams of this from his trip to Montreal and I know it’s technically limited with the holidays, but I could see this being had all year long. Yum!

Yeah, I think I’m definitely going to get through this before winter is over. I’ve had 4 cups of it so far today. I use 3 tsp in my steeping mug, let it sit for awhile before I touch it and add a bit of sweetener. Yummy.

I ordered some of the sample sachets of this with my BF Teavivre order. On the package, they recommend boiling water, but I used 195. The oolong is almost creamy in a way and the strawberry flavor is light and pleasant. I probably could have done without it, but I added a bit of sweetener. Currently going on my 2nd steep.

This tea is such a disappointment to me since it smells soo strong and delicious and the actual taste is quite weakly flavored. I used 3 heaping teaspoons in my 16oz steeping mug and I added sweetener. It tastes like light cinnamon but otherwise, it just doesn’t have the oomph you’d expect from the scent. Sad. Though it makes me glad I only picked up the 1oz sample.

This basically tastes like raspberry jolly ranchers, which is kinda awesome. Even though it looks like mostly apple pieces, you do get the raspberry flavor, though the pineapple is very light. I know Teavana isn’t very popular on here and people say it’s really expensive, but honestly $10 for 2oz of tea is not that bad (Davidstea is pricier), even if it more of a tisane than anything else.

I bought this when World Market was doing their BOGO sale on The Republic of Tea teas. I don’t know why I only pulled it out recently, but the cute little tin was hiding in the back of my cupboard. In any case, I think this is long gone as I can’t find it on the website and it’s been missing from my local World Market for months now (sorry!). This is a nice caffeine free alternative for the holiday season.

It’s sweet on its own, but I always add sweetener and that’s when the flavors really pop. It’s got just enough cinnamon and vanilla added to keep the ginger from being overwhelming. It’s a lovely cup and I’d repurchase with a sale. Otherwise, I find this brand on the pricey side, since one bag only yields 6oz of tea. I double bagged in a 12oz mug.

Hmm… this is another one my husband brought back from Montreal. This is very similar to Read My Lips, except there’s a hint of creaminess that doesn’t really come out as much in RML, although I might try steeping that one at a lower temperature as well and see if that makes a difference. Not bad, but I have a hefty serving of RML to work through so not sure I’d stock this one in addition to that one, though the little candy canes are adorable.

This is surprisingly good! I was a bit nervous as the smell in the bag is way too strong and almost chemical, but the brewed tea has a much lighter aroma. I mostly taste chocolate and coconut, but there is also a creaminess to it I really enjoy. I managed to get this for a nice price during one of their sales (about $5 for the 2oz) but I’m not sure I’d pay the nearly $11 per 2oz retail price.

Ok, apparently, I’m too tired tonight to make a sensible review. I think my last note on this has more details. I’m nearly done with this sample, so I’ll say that I’ve enjoyed this one.
